      I am running, running till the limit where my legs can carry me. How can this be? My mind says, as I take off my shirt and change into the form of a wolf. I am standing beside the river and am looking over the other side. I want to go to that side. If only I knew... How are you feeling, honey? comes the feminine voice and I turn to it. That familiar, haunting face! Long locks, parted black lips and eyes with storm burning in them, You can’t, I say, and back up towards the water, Don’t even think about it? she says, and as she directs her to stare towards the ground, a sudden, vision blinding pain races across my veins. I am looking for a way out of this nightmare if there is one! Leave me, please, I say, and see her smile in response. Did not I say that thing, that hideous night? she asks, and I am terrified. Don’t do this. I am sorry. I am really sorry. I should have known that…, That what goes around comes around, isn’t it? she mouths the dooming words, Please, I am on my knees and I am praying her to leave me. That night is so clear in my mind, it is almost scaring me. Without her doing anything, a silver knife appears in her hands from nowhere, No, I say, with my eyes going wide in response. I say, yes, she smiles that cruel smile and before I can do anything, with a slash, the thing across my throat!

      Sitting on the breakfast table, I am busy reading the newspaper and nibbling my apple when a voice from behind pulls my attention. Happy birthday, baby turning to the voice, I see a large bouquet of roses held by someone, Tada, says Keith and stooping down, kisses me on the cheek. Hi Keith, thanks, I hesitate and smile. What are you doing? No classes today? he asks, I was just leaving, I reply, Shall I come with you, too? I feel like skipping basketball practise today, he says, No, I turn to him, Don’t do that. Better be there. You have been skipping the classes too much, lately, It is because I want to be with you, he says, and I am halted in my tracks, I want to be the one for you, Ian. Whenever you want me, in whichever way, I just want to be there for you, I am robbed out of words as I stare at him, dumbstruck! But…, No need to say anything, he says, I know you thought, I am all for girls and everything but, after I have started going with you, I think, I am not as straight as I considered myself to be. Especially, now that even Ray has…, I am getting late for class, Keith. I don’t want to have any talk on this issue. I am happy to be single and, I want the things to be in that way, for some time. I am not that sort of guy who jumps from one relationship to another. I didn’t want this relationship to break but, it did.
