A Child Out Of Time
(From the Jack and the Giant P. I. series: The 3 Fate’s)
It was the night before Christmas, we all know the line.
But in one girls home, not all was fine.
Her name was Annette, an Immortal you see.
Her job as her sisters to weave what would be.
It was emotions that she should not have had,
Yet in the back of her mind she really was glad.
Centuries past centuries, she weaved lovers a dream.
Of this too she wanted, so she started to scheme.
It was Arthur, she’d been watching, a mortal and man.
She wanted his love, so she made up a plan.
To visit him while he slept in rest,
To hold him, kiss him, that was her quest.
What happened next, even the Fate’s did not know,
For true love took them, and set them aglow.
Passionate fires, did rage in their loin.
Two shall be one, these lovers did join.
An error of romance, this some would say.
A mistake of the Fate’s on this fine Winters day.
They did what they did, as lovers often will.
All was quiet on that night, all was very still.
Their baby was born without a life span.
She was never intended, as part of the plan.
So a curse was then placed, to mend the tear.
And save all of time, Universe’s despair.
Three hundred and seventeen years, time took to heal.
With the help of two hero’s, they were part of the deal.
Jack and Tiny, they were called by name.
They saved an infant, as part of their fame.
On this day you can rest, upon pillow and bed.
Of devils and demons, those have all fled.
Destruction was averted, and chaos you see.
Of Jack and the Giant, a young girls life was set free.
All is now quiet, all is now good.
So sleep soundly my children, as I know you should.
The future is out there, for those who care.
Like a song on a trumpet, floating sofetly in the air.

A Childs’s Rhyme For Bedtime
Its nappy time, so here my rhyme.
I want to go to bed.
With eyes half closed, I’d like to doze.
And rest my weary head.
Moms kiss to me, of that I see.
To ward away my fright.
I think mom knows; I love her so.
Sweet dreams for me tonight.
I’ve no sin, God tuck me in.
The sandman will guide my way.
My day is done; I’ve had my fun.
It’s time to rest this day.

A Cracked Case Solved
(A Rocci Raccoon File)
Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall,
But was his fall an accident at all?
It was said in hushed whispers, there was something that stunk,
But that turned out to be Pepe La Pew; La Pew was a skunk.
A howl too was heard, just moments before,
Followed by the bang, of a slamming door.
The police searched the crime scene, gathering evidence and clues.
When asked about suspects, they gave out no news.
Humpty was in the hospital, under intensive care.
His shell cracked open; his yoke lay bare.
Doctor Doolittle work tirelessly, well into the night.
He wrapped Humpty with Duct tape. What a pitiful looking sight.
Yet the tape seemed to help and Humpty opened his eyes.
The Big egg’s recovery, a complete surprise.
The police question Mr. Dumpty, Can you tell us your tale?
I think it was Jack and Jill,
he said, for I was hit with their pail.
Stunned were the police, for they knew Jack and Jill.
They assumed they were at home, or maybe up the hill.
Unconscious and tied up, both were found around noon.
In the grass on the hill were a dish and a spoon.
Their pail, it was missing, of that we all know.
Having been used on Humpty’s head, striking a great blow.
The kids were thus questioned. What happened to you two?
It was some boy.
They guessed unsure. Maybe Little Boy Blue.
Boy Blue, the cops found, in his room playing his horn.
Earlier he’d been with The Three Little Pigs eating corn.
The detective in charge, his name, Rocci Raccoon,
Considered all the evidence, like The Dish and The Spoon.
Hmm, he then wondered. Was that sound heard a howl?
Or, had it been a fake howl? A fake howl from a cow?
The kids had an alibi. They were both squarely tied up.
Boy Blue wasn’t at fault. He was with three pigs having Supp’.
Back to Humpty, Rocci went. Are you sure who you saw?
Well, maybe not exactly, for I’d taken a great fall.
Tell me more,
prodded the raccoon. Anything that you can.
I saw two shapes,
said the egg. One holding a ham, the other a pan."
So who, Rocci pondered. Who likes eggs with their ham?
He could only think of one. That was Sam I Am.
An APB was put out, and our Sam was thus found.
He was caught with a Laughing Little Dog, sitting by, on the ground.
It seems he had an accomplice, for there too was The Cow.
With nineteen boxes of Moon Pies, the cow more like a sow.
Why’d you do it?
asked Rocci. Try to pull off your scam.
Sam sadly replied, Because I like eggs with my ham.
The moral of this story… Well, I can’t think of one.
This rhyme seems to be over. Yes, I think it is now done.

A Cry For Help
(Another poem by Mzhyper and Pirate60)
I live in a void. Surrounded by many, yet no one is there.
No one sees my tears; no one hears my shouts.
How can one understand that which they cannot grasp?
Do you hear voices when no one is there?
Voices not your own yet inside you.
Voices as individual as one person is to another.
Voices that vie for control; control over me, over who I am.
You cannot conceive the struggle I go though each day.
A struggle with no pauses, no rest.
A struggle 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Can you fathom a world of constant torment?
Where thoughts of giving up is very real.
I ask you; would you jump in to the sea to save a drowning person?
If your life may very well be forfeited, would you do so anyways?
That is me, I am he who is drowning; will you try to help me?
To stay sane is like a battle that whole armies are not prepared to fight.
So how can I win alone?
Help me, understand me, be by me and care.
Do whatever you can, for I am lost without you.
I am lost now.
Lost…

A Dear Jane Letter
Dear (Jane)…
, to my horror were the first words I read.
It was the line that hit hardest, my heart it did dread.
I love you so much
, it went on to lie,
The hurt magnified, I wished I would die.
On I read, while the room spun around,
My tears in a tissue, dropped onto the ground.
But I met someone else, we hit it off well.
The words there in ink had broken his spell.
His mask fell away to reveal the beast,
Its teeth ripping flesh, my heart it did feast.
A rose in my vase had started to wilt,
My heart turned as ice, a wall there was built.
I ripped up the
