About this ebook
It started as a joke. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a harmless little joke. Liam didn't take to it kindly. He wasn't meant to get hurt. You can never guess what will happen when a practical joke goes bad. Someone gets hurt, emotions rise and tempers flair. Someone always gets hurt.
You just don't know the state of a person, his day may already be in the pisser when an idiot decides to come along and pour confetti over him for no reason whatsoever. He may already have a shitload of baggage to deal with from an overstuffed suitcase of issues when the person he loves most in the world decides to end it with one stupid gag.
When that happens, no one can guess the lengths one will go to to seek retribution.

So, I guess the first thing I should do is say thank you to the usual culprits. Carl Trainor, a man who actually seems to enjoy my stories just about as much as I do. Your ideas have given birth to some crazily screwed up scenes in my other stories and while I thank you for that (though my wife believes you to be a bad influence) I am happy to say that this one is a child of my own conception and research. Though your interest in it as it came to life was greatly appreciated.
My wife, although I give her a hard time deserves nothing from me but my utmost admiration (of which she has in abundance) and my sincerest gratitude. She’s been incredibly tolerant whilst I prattle on about the latest idea I have, or the newest scene I wish to write about Liam that never finds its way into type. The countless times I’ve come up with a closing scene for the story that I never write. An idea for a new character I could introduce that never ends up being created, let alone introduced. Worse yet, I’ll create the character because she thinks it’ll be a smart move, then all of a sudden I’ve given him a sex change, fake boobs and nine inch finger nails that it uses to scratch its father’s balls while it sucks him off. Thank you so much for your patience, and I’m sorry.
Heather Mclean, another person who seems to enjoy my stories. Thank you for your support and on going interest in my writing. It means so much to me.
I’ve also got to acknowledge a graphic designer by the name of Scott Snyder on freeimages.com for the use his photograph which makes the cover page of this work. Should check out some of his stuff if you’ve got the chance.
Although, a work of fiction, a lot of this story was inspired by Richard Kuklinski. I in no way condone any of the actions he undertook I still must address the fact that this character was based heavily during the story’s infancy on my idea of him. I mean no disrespect to the families of his victims by any of the scenes I have written herein. Be assured that, though I based and researched the man and others it is still very much a work of fiction.
And to you, the reader, who has taken the time to download and read this child of mine, thank you, and enjoy.
Chapter One—Now
How could he do this to her? How could her husband lock her in this room, naked? It was just a joke. Nothing happened. Hell, they both kept all of their clothes on it's not like they kissed or anything. She's never cheated on her husband; it was just a harmless joke. Just a way for her to see how much he cared for her. She didn't think for a moment that he'd do this to her. All for the sake of little joke. A laugh.
Her wrists ache and her head is spinning with shock. How could he do this to her? How could he ruin fifteen years of marriage for the sake of a stupid joke? And it was stupid. She can see that now. Hell, she even saw it at the time but in her typical self righteous fashion she chose not to see it. She has to find a way to get out of these bindings, to get out of this room and put some clothes on. She needs, more than the comfort of clothing, to find a way to make her
