      THE SERIAL CHEATER

      Chapter 1

      UP TO NO GOOD

      Yolanda laid lazily across the sofa enjoying a glass of wine while one of her favorite reality shows played on the 70 inch 3-D flat screen that hung right above the fire place on the wall. As she sat enjoying her show, she heard her cell phone vibrating on the arm of the sofa. Yolanda glanced down at the screen and the word, Unavailable flashed across the screen. Someone had been calling her cell phone for the past week from an unavailable number, but she never answered unavailable/blocked calls or numbers she didn’t know or recognize, but tonight her curiosity had gotten the best of her.

      Yeah, Yolanda answered with an attitude. She hated when people took time to block their number. That was the stupidest thing in the world to her. If you were brave enough to call, then be brave enough to show your number.

      Bitch when I catch you, that’s word to my mother I’m going to cut your face, the woman’s voice on the other end of the phone spat.

      Yeah I know tough guy, Yolanda yawned. If it was one thing she hated it was a phone thug.

      The next time Cam tells me that you over there stressing him out, I’mma show you what time it is, the woman spat. The only reason I ain’t wash you up yet is cause Cam has been begging me not to, but my patience is running real thin.

      Yeah I hear you talking.

      A’ight, stress my man out again bitch and watch what happen! the woman threatened.

      You bum ass bitches kill me, Yolanda said. "It’s funny how Cam is your man, but me and him live together and have been together for seven years. The last time I checked, I was the one with a 2 carat diamond ring on my finger. What do you have on your finger?"

      Bitch if you keep stressing my man out, you gonna have a ring around your motherfucking eye! the woman spat. That last ring comment caught a vein and pissed the caller off. Now she had to return the favor. By the way, the next time you kiss Cam, just know you’re tasting my pussy, bitch! The woman let out a laugh and then hung up.

      Yolanda tossed her phone down on the sofa and growled several curse words. If it wasn’t one thing, it was another with Cam and these other women. Yolanda did her best to be everything Cam needed her to be, but no matter what she did, it was just never good enough. Yolanda couldn’t figure out what she was doing wrong or what another woman could do for Cam that she couldn’t. The more she tried to figure it out, the more complicated things became.
