      Boring boring boring, lacking lacking lacking ... please be cautious and look the other way.. nor salt or pepper in this book, very bland

      I enjoyed this book a lovely light read one of those ones that makes you smile. But you don’t have to think much. Lovely little story

      For some unknown reason I keep rereading this book. I wouldn’t put it on my list of Jude Deveraux favorites nor strongly recommend to others to read but something in the story draws me. Might be the whole interaction between the family and the female lead and how the female lead was able to infuse her optimism and enthusiasm for life to them. Sharing a different perspective in life. Likely that is what resonates in me. We could all use some sunshine in our lives. It’s an uncomplicated read that does have strange and sometimes unnecessary complications but for me still a good read to pass a day.

      It's kind of cute but, overall, bland. A very forgettable book, and I recommend skipping it -- even if you're a Deveraux fan.
