About this ebook

Explore interpretations of the afterlife by traveling alongside a few unfortunate souls. In this collection, three odd tales are twisted with bits of sci-fi and horror that will leave you deep in thought long after The End.

The After: An elderly trainer teaches a young heir the proper way to fulfill blessings in a post-apocalyptic world. With training this near perfect there's no possible room for error.

The Unveiling: A persistent scientist will stop at nothing to prove the existence of space-time anomalies, even though what he discovers is truly shocking.

Dead End: An obsessed hospice worker is determined to know if people are given signs to warn them of their deaths ahead of time. Perhaps her research can answer that question.

To those who love dark, twisted tales that leave you in a deep state of thought.

Of course you don't die. Nobody dies. Death doesn't exist. You only reach a new level of vision, a new realm of consciousness, a new unknown world.

The white light is always at the start." Wilshire lifted his bony finger to the large monitor on the wall.

Jonah turned a small dial on the cold, metal control board just as he had been instructed. A pinprick of white light glowing from the middle of the screen grew to an intense, enveloping beam, illuminating the surrounding equipment. Jonah’s eyes widened.

Wilshire pressed a button on the panel and a loud whooshing sound surrounded them, then quickly faded as the monitor powered down. The noise resembled the big event that had devastated the world back then. No matter how many decades went by, he’d never forget how sudden life had changed from being pleasant to horrible.

Wow. Jonah stared ahead. His jaw hung open and his eyes were unblinking. The old man knew the boy was unaware of the similarity between the noise and the incident that occurred long before his birth. What was that?
