Young doctor Janice Atwood is in London exploring career options at a Doctors Without Frontiers conference. She meets British doctor, George Sudbury who could definitely use her help in the free clinic he oversees in Central America. Injured in a freak accident, Jan has a chance at time travel she never imagined and a chance to modernize Medieval medicine with a British barber surgeon.

Liz Kingsbury McKeown got her real start as a writer when she signed up for the Mentoree Program at KFAI Radio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a writer for the Shockwave Science Fiction Comedy show from 1993-95. During that time, she wrote, directed and produced two short radio plays and several skits. In 1998, she wrote, casted, directed and produced a radio play, ‘Saint Carolyn of the Eighties’ on KFAI’s Wave Project.
