His most important and rewarding job: Father!He is passionate about his interests which include Languages, Music, Martial Arts, various sciences, travel, and Writing.He is committed to God, Family, and Country (in that order), and believes a patriot is never too old to die for his Country, but admits it's better if the enemy dies for his. Besides writing "Musings...", he has also written "One Too Many", a trilogy of short stories, and is finishing a novel, "The Ultimate Secret". He lives in Florida where he spends much time gardening.

    Chapter 1

    Dominic flew to Shreveport, Louisiana and got a modest apartment on the edge of town. At the request of Carrie Call and her sister, Corey Cole, back in San Francisco, he was trying to learn more about Corey from local records, and any other source he could develop. After a day-long search at the local library where he found numerous articles about Corey, he checked the phone book for her listing. He did find her name (first initial only) and number, but the street address was omitted, obviously to retain privacy and safety. Dominic's next stop was to the public utilities office where he cleverly obtained her home address.

    He bought a small dog and a leash, and started walking the dog through Corey's neighborhood so he could encounter some of her neighbors. He relied on his charm and trustful manner to get information about Corey from anyone who knew her.

    He learned that she was well-liked and admired in the community. She was athletic, competitive, and participated in community affairs like Paint-Your-Heart-Out, Blood Drives, and Toys For Tots.
