      SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, TO THE POINT

      The main reason this book came into being is because I started noticing all the contradicting stories and information about pickup artists. Some seem to think it’s this secret society that only an elite group of men are able to infiltrate. Some seem to think its all about scamming women into sleeping with them. And some seem to think it’s just a load of hogwash.

      I’m here to tell you it’s really none of these things.

      This book is for the guy who is tired of chasing down information only to get the same, tired, watered-down stuff he’s heard time and time again. It’s for the guy who wants to get his game on, but doesn’t seem to know how to start. It’s for the guy who is done wasting time with plans and programs that don’t work. It’s for the guy who wants to become a pickup artist in his own right and simply wants to know how. This book is about what a pickup artist is, how he operates and how to become one, if you so chose. It’s also written in a non-judgmental way from a FYI and/or a DYI perspective. It is simple, effective and to the point.

      So, if you are one of those guys who wants to get his game on and become a pickup artist, or just a guy who wants to learn how to meet and talk to women, this is the book for you.

      One last note. This is a very comprehensive guide. As you read it, try not to get overwhelmed or intimidated by the material. Most of the stuff will become second nature to you once you begin to put it into practice. The important thing to remember is that it takes time to learn how to meet, talk to and pick up women. But putting in the effort is the only sure way to get the job done.

      THE ART OF PICKING UP WOMEN

      There are many ways a guy can pick up a girl. However, most of them are not that great. Take for instance the pickup line. While this little blurb might seem like an easy way to introduce yourself to a woman, most times it just ends up leaving bad first impression. And once you’ve left a bad first impression, there’s no going back. She’s just not going to be that into you after that.

      The biggest mistake that most men seem to make while attempting to pick up women is the assumption that said woman does not want anything to do with them. For some reason, many men approach women with the attitude of defeat. They think they don’t have a shot and they usually end up getting the result that they assumed they would get.

      And this is where the pickup artist and the regular guy differ. The pickup artist doesn’t go into any pickup situation believing he is going to strike out. He knows he might not get the girl, but he doesn’t let that stop him. What he does know is that even if he doesn’t score tonight, he’s probably going to score sometime in the near future.

      There is an art to the pickup and I will tell you what the guys who get the girls do. This is from a real-life perspective and doesn’t involve any sort of tricks, especially the sort that could lead to embarrassment.

      You will need to learn how the pickup really works and how you can put it into practice. Additionally, you will have to concentrate on women and what to do before you go out to pick them up. And that is one of the most important aspects to any pickup. Knowing what to do before you get to the club or bar or wherever is extremely important. If you go in ready to win over women, you will, more than likely, meet your own expectations.

      I am going to keep this book on point. Most chapters are going to be short and efficient. I am not going to waste time telling you things that won’t work. I am not going to mince words, either. This means what’s contained in this book are the methods that work time and time again. It’s what’s worked for many men for many years. And it’s neither hard to explain nor understand. Once you read it, you might think to yourself, Wow, that’s doable. And that’s the attitude you need if you want to pick up women.

      The simplest plans are usually the ones that work the best. Once things begin to get complicated, that’s when you tend to run into trouble. If you keep it simple, straightforward and to the point, you will become a pickup artist in your own right.

      In a nutshell: Never over-complicate things. If you tend to do that, do yourself a favor and stop. Picking up women isn’t a complicated matter that only a mastermind can do. It’s a relatively simple process that entails concentrated effort, but also a bit of verve.

      The book is going to concentrate on how the pickup works and how you can work it for yourself. That said, it’s going to be a quick, easy read. The art of the pickup should not be as complicated as others have made it to be. The art of it is in simply knowing how to meet women and interact with them, which usually, inevitably, leads to partying and possibly hooking up.

      Having said that, let’s move on to how all this really works.

      STUDY TIME

      Studying isn’t just for school. It can also be very helpful to any aspiring pickup artist.

      One thing to consider before you begin is to realize that with due diligence, you can become a master of the art of the pickup. However, what that entails is studying how to do it.

      Say, for instance, you’re interested in making money. You could be a banker or a real estate investor or a stock broker or what-have-you. The field in which you are employed doesn’t necessarily matter as much as your desire to make money, as that is your main concern. So what you would do is study the economy and the current financial trends in order to establish where your efforts to make money would be the most effective. Once you do that, you learn how money works and, inevitably, you make money. It’s a learned skill.

      So, therefore, if you’re a banker or whatever, you’re going to study how to make money, right? That’s your main interest. If you want to become a pickup master, then you have to study the art of the pickup. It’s that simple.

      There is an art to the pickup and it’s a learned skill, much like any other skill you might want to acquire. And once you begin to learn the skill, you must hone it in order for it to continue to benefit you. And, with studying how it works and then putting it into practice, you can become the pickup artist you want to be.

      THE DEFINITION

      Before you can become a pickup artist in your own right, it is imperative that you first understand exactly what one is. So, what, exactly, is a pickup artist? Who are these guys who pick up women and party?

      A pickup artist is a man who, for all intents and purposes, finds ways to be attractive to women. It is a man who is skilled—or at least tries—in meeting women. Lastly, and most importantly, the pickup artist is skilled at seducing women. Pickup artists are not, by definition, serial daters. They are seducers of women, much like the infamous Casanova. They are not looking to settle down anytime soon. Therefore, they are, by their very nature, serial non-monogamists.

      This may lead us to the question of why. Why would anyone want to become a pickup artist? What’s in it for these guys who do this? Mostly, it’s about being around women and having fun. It’s also about having sex with the women that they pick up. While preparing yourself to do this is work, you should understand that while the effort is great, the rewards are very fulfilling. For instance, you will always have numbers of women you’ve met and, therefore, you’ll always have someone to party with. More importantly, you’ll usually have something to do on a weekend night.

      Mostly, being a pickup artist is akin to being a social butterfly. A good pickup artist isn’t just liked by the women he picks up, but men like him, too. In essence, he is the party—at least as far as the ladies are concerned. He’s the guy at the big table in the back of the club surrounded by women and men. He’s the guy everyone looks towards to get the party started. Once he’s arrived, you know it’s going to be a good night.

      And that’s what being a pickup artist is all about. It’s about having a good time while you’re out. It’s not about sitting at the bar watching everyone else have fun; it’s about you getting out there and picking up women to have fun and party with. And, after the party is over, it’s about taking a woman home and having sex. That’s what being a successful pickup artist really is.
