    Karma - Phillip Duke

    Synopsis

Due to its importance the subject of Karma has been of interest since time immemorial, it is of interest now, and it will always be of interest. Karma presents three understandings regarding the way life fundamentally works, and what happens after life ends.

The first understanding is that of an act’s moral reciprocity or reaction. In terms of moral intent every act reacts back onto the doer.

The second understanding is that Karma determines all life circumstances; an act’s moral intent, not its consequence, is the all-important life determinant.

The third understanding is that Karma determines the soul’s destination after death. In Hinduism and Buddhism Karma determines the circumstance of the soul’s rebirth by reincarnation; in Christianity and Islam Karma determines the soul’s destination for all eternity; the soul’s Karma determines whether it goes to Heaven or to Hell.

This book contains the author’s Dedication, Abbreviated Book Reviews and Spiritual Biography, an Introduction, and the following Eleven Chapter subjects: (1) What Is Karma? (2) Karma’s Moral Action and Reaction, (3) Karma and Luck, (4) Karma and God, (5) Karma and Intention, (6) Group Karma, (7) Object Karma, (8) Karma Soul Mates, (9) Karma Yoga, (10) Isaac Newton’s Letter To Richard Bentley, and (11) The Validity of Karma. It also contains New and Old Testament Karmic Quotations, King Solomon’s Wisdom, Intent, and an Afterword.

Karma was previously published hard cover titled The Law Of Karma. It has two reviews, both very favorable, and ISBN and Library Of Congress catalog numbers. This book is well worth reading, because in addition to being extremely interesting and very well written, it will do wonderful things for anyone who puts its principles into practice, just as it did for the author.

    Good Karma to you.

    Phillip Duke. Ph.D.
