Ariel
A small pink envelope awaited Ariel when she went to check her mail Thursday morning.
Working from home meant she could start work whenever she wanted. That day, when she pulled out that pink envelope addressed to her, she knew she would be starting work late that day. Ariel held it in her hand as she stood on the sidewalk of an inner city neighborhood, kids riding their bikes to school and neighbors mowing their tiny lawns around her. She quickly readjusted her fuzzy pink bathrobe and hauled her mail back inside.
There was no return address on the envelope, which she noticed as she sat down in her breakfast nook with a cup of coffee and a bagel. Could it be?
Ariel mused, opening the envelope and pulling the paper out. It was white printer paper with inkjet all over it.
3562 Junction Avenue. First floor. Back room. Saturday. 8 PM. Be there.
Ariel stared at that piece of paper for way too long. She finished her bagel and fetched her laptop under the guise of starting her work early.
Of course, she ignored her pressing emails and went straight to the SapphiConnection website and to the private group she joined two months ago. An announcement was posted by the group owner up top. All invitations were sent out Tuesday. PM me if you didn’t get yours. Ariel opened the thread and saw a few likes, meaning people got theirs. She added her like and heaved a heavy breath.
She thought it was a joke when she first found this group. A friend of a friend told her about it when they were drunk one Saturday night, playing Truth or Dare. Ariel was dared to confess her ultimate sexual fantasy, and she spilled the
