About this ebook

Paige Burton meets the love of her sexual life at a masked sex party when she's too young to realize how special their connection is. After years of searching for similar sexual bliss, she has officially given up. Now she pours out her frustration via her online blog and by dancing away her frustrations in her club.

Billionaire architect Mayson Montgomery made her fortune building eco-friendly offshore wind turbines. She learned quickly that money stood in the way of finding a happy ever after. But she still remembers her masked angel years ago.

When they meet again, Paige doesn't make the connection between her masked lover from the past and Galveston's raunchy rich heart throb. Fortunately, Mayson is a little more aware and won't give up until Paige has fallen head over heels for her.

Will Paige and Mayson grasp the love in front of them or will they let it slip away a second time?

Her writing career began two years ago when the voices in her head wouldn’t stop their constant chatter. After ruling out multiple personalities, and hitting the keyboard, a writer was born.Larkin work will soon appear in Ultimate Lesbian Erotica 2008 (w/a Sheri Livingston) and Wetter 2008 (as Larkin Rose). The voices continue. The clatter of keys continues. The birth of erotic creations carries on.

Most lesbian fiction that I've read starts with a friendship/relationship build up and then eventually gets to the sex, this book was most definitely the opposite in its construction. (Perhaps I've been reading the wrong lesbian fiction books.)It's the story of Paige, the owner of a night club who also still dances there. She also also runs a blog as X, a woman who is looking for sex that will be as amazing as she once had in a masked party six years or so before. The other main character is Mayson, a billionaire owner of a Wind Turbine company that she created and built from the ground up. She also has a disaster relief charity as well. The back stories and multiple places that their histories intersect made me have to suspend quite a bit of disbelief, but, they also made the story (on a purely fictional plane) really, really interesting. Then there was the Mayson as Vinden and Paige as X sort of subplot, sort of story that wove through the 'main' story. They were woven in and out in a natural way that kept me guessing where everything was going to end up. And the slow reveal that the author had Mayson trying to do was masterfully written. I wasn't sure until the end if it all was going to work out or not.The characters were pretty well written as well. From the main characters to the secondary and minor ones to even the Evil Orange Cat. The Orange Cat was actually one of my favorite characters in the story. And the relationship between the Orange Cat and Paige was just priceless. I do have to say that one of the things that wasn't as great in the story was the fact that I felt unmoored locationally for most of the book. I didn't even realize until the end that it took place in Florida. There was a bit more sex than I usually run into in lesbian romance fiction titles, but, it was very well written and so I have to say that it wasn't a bad thing at all.I really liked this book. It was an interesting ride and different than most of the other lesbian I've read recently.I got this advanced galley through Netgalley on behalf of Bold Strokes Books.
