    After his brutal murder, former prisoner of war Sergeant Grayson Cole reawakens in a Virginia hospital bearing none of the physical scars from the torture he’s certain he endured or the final blow which ended his life.

    Struggling to understand how he could still be alive, he learns that he is the subject of a top secret military experiment to harvest vital intel by digitizing and transplanting memories into suitable host bodies. His perception of who he is and what is real, already on shaky ground, is shattered when he discovers that the experiment has failed — not just once, but multiple times — and that decades have elapsed since his identity was first digitized.

    Now, with the experiment about to end, Grayson must scramble to uncover the truth about what he is and the nature of his existence. Then, and only then, might he be able to free himself from his metaphysical prison.

    Recode: T.G.C.A. is both a hi-tech psychological thriller and a speculative foray into the nature of self-awareness.
