    I was raised in a small town in Michigan and was born with a congenital problem in both knees. I went through many surgeries, trying to correct the problem but there was never really a cure. Little did I know, that God had "branded" me at birth, for such a moment as this. Many in this world grow up and go to school or college, to get their education but that's not what God had in store for me. My education for writing, came from twenty-one painful knee surgeries, heartache from sexual abuse as a child, and the loss of many things in my life, including the loss of children. As each painful moment came and as each loving desire left; God was taking all the brokenness in my life, and He was piecing it together, so I could have the heart He desired...a heart that could understand and care, for others who live in despair.       Acknowledgements

      First, I would like to give praise, honor, and glory to Jesus Christ, for the words of wisdom He gives me! Without His words of wisdom, I would have no words to write. I believe that His wisdom is a way of revealing Himself to us. When we read words that strike a chord within our spirits, then we have felt the touch of His presence.

      In addition, I want to thank my husband Keith, for the times that he has encouraged me in my writings. I remember a moment, when I first began to write poetry and I never felt worthy of publishing my writings but Keith encouraged me to press on. If God had not used him to encourage me, then there would probably be no books for you to read, so I thank my husband for his support.

      Finally, I would like to dedicate this book, to everyone, who is searching for God's truth and wisdom in his or her life. My prayer today, is that these words that God has shared with me, would become mighty weapons of truth, to help you and encourage you, during difficult moments of need.

      As God has given me these words…I give this book back to Him, that He may use this book; in a way that will bring honor and glory to His name.

      Preface

      I believe that a Christian, who endures great moments of pain and heartache, can go to a depth within their spirit, where they can discover hidden treasures from God. Due to their moments of suffering, they perceive life differently; then before the tragedy first began.

      Personally, I do not believe that a person can go to school to write poetry or other quotes from the heart. I believe that these words come from lessons learned and new growth that springs forth, from the root of the circumstance.
