Brian Anthony Bowen

Following his rededication of his life to the cause of Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit led Brian Anthony Bowen through an exhaustive study of God's Word which led to the discovery of hidden Biblical revelations regarding LGBT people, and the critical prophetic role we play in the Return of Jesus Christ. As a serious student of God's Word, Brother Brian shares detailed examinations of Scriptures most Christians are familiar with, as well as introduces us to Scriptures most have never heard of. It is Brother Brian's hope that these revelations will empower Church Shepherds and Congregants alike, as this message restores families that have been destroyed upon learning that a child or parent or spouse is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, as well as to restore the many Church bodies that have been sharply divided by traditional teachings on the subject of homosexuality over the centuries. More than another book about how the Church has been wrong, and what Scriptures LGBT people can feel free to disregard, this work bridges the gaps in both "pro gay" and "anti gay" schools of theology.

    Chapter One: Kingdom of Heaven

There is an important connection between God’s prophecy to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in Isaiah 55:11-56:12, and the message of hope the Holy Spirit led Philip to share with the Ethiopian Eunuch in the only account of evangelism in all of  Scripture.

Particularly striking is the way this account ties so many references from the eunuch prophecies to the beginning of their fulfillment with the baptism of the Ethiopian Eunuch, while at the same time connecting the Messianic prophecies contained in the same portion of Scripture from Isaiah 53-56, and their fulfillment in the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.  The fulfillment of the prophecies regarding Jesus Christ is also the key to understanding the authenticity and authority of the Scriptures.  Considering that Isaiah was written 750 years prior to Jesus' birth, and comparing the fulfillment of those prophecies in precise detail in the ministry of Jesus, we realize the statistical impossibility that the Scriptures are simply a fabricated myth of men.  Throughout Scripture, the fulfillment of prophecy is what sets the Scriptures apart from any other literature in all of human history.

When realizing the prophecies of Jesus are written by more than 40 different authors over a period of 4000 years we recognize the impossibility of human collusion.  Even if the disciples had taken the Old Testament scrolls they had access to at the time, read all the prophecies concerning Jesus, and then conspired to fabricate their fulfillment in Jesus’ ministry, it would be statistically impossible to have located each prophecy in the first place, because many examples of their fulfillment came after Jesus had ascended to the Father. This helps us first believe the Scriptures are authentic and authoritative, leading us to have the first foundation necessary to even believe in God at all, based on what Scriptures tell us about Him, His Son, and the Holy Spirit.

While many Christians have tried in vain to convert LGBT people by proclaiming God's prohibitions against our sexuality, we’ll soon see that's not how Scripture instructs us to do it.  A person doesn’t save a man by revealing to him his sin, but by revealing to him His Son, and as we’ll now learn from the Book of Acts 8:29-40, that’s exactly what Philip when he baptized the Ethiopian Eunuch under direct leadership of the Holy Spirit.  We'll also see from these Scriptures that Philip had simply followed the promptings and leadings of the Holy Spirit to teach the eunuch about God's plan of salvation, and how to claim his inheritance with all the other born again believers--even eunuchs like himself, and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.  The only requirement for being saved and baptized was that he believed that Jesus Christ is the son of God!

Let's look first at how the story unfolds in Acts 8:25-35:

25 Now when [the apostles] had borne their testimony and preached the message of the Lord, they went back to Jerusalem, proclaiming the glad tidings (Gospel) to many villages of the Samaritans [on the way].

26 But an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Rise and proceed southward or at midday on the road that runs from Jerusalem down to Gaza.  This is the desert [route].

27 So he got up and went.  And behold, an Ethiopian, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure, had come to Jerusalem to worship.

28 And he was [now] returning, and sitting in his chariot he was reading the book of the prophet Isaiah.

29 Then the [Holy] Spirit said to Philip, Go forward and join yourself to this chariot

30 Accordingly Philip, running up to him, heard [the man] reading the prophet Isaiah and asked, Do you really understand what you
