About this ebook
The date 11/11/11 is super special because it only happens once in our lifetime. To commemorate this “supernatural event,” cookbook author Nancy Mehagian created eleven new recipes for junior chefs, a follow-up to her well-received The Supernatural Kids Cookbook, first published in March 2011. The new recipes include Tamari Roasted Pepitas, Baked Parmesan Zucchini Sticks, Apple Buckle, and Baked Bananas.
Nancy, who has been teaching cooking classes for over thirty-five years and opened the first vegetarian restaurant on the island of Ibiza, also includes her cooking terms primer and glossary of kitchen equipment in this tidy volume that packs a supernatural punch.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will benefit End Hunger Network, bringing Americans together to end hunger in the United States by 2015.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5"The Supernatural Kids Cookbook," is a recipe book that teaches kids about using organic, non processed foods in healthy ways. The title is completely misleading; the book has nothing to do with the supernatural (I expected recipes for witch's brews and goblin snot, perfect for Halloween). The printing of the book is very sophomoric; there are random words highlighted in different fonts and colors which look as thought they were created in Microsoft word and completely detracts from the book. Additionally, the author of this book seems to be wildly out of touch with today's kids; her descriptions of eating fresh Hawaiian pineapple fresh from the field are certainly not going to connect with the majority of her demographic. This book will appeal to families that emphasize organic cooking and libraries in upper class or liberal areas; it would not be appreciated in any lower income ones.
