    After David's mum "buys" him a star from one of those weird magazines that sells undersea creatures and x ray specs, he and his friends are visited by a strange man. That he turns out to be an alien is less frightening than they're being abducted to aother planet.

       Still, they're cool about it since whart could be so hard that three fourteen year olds couldn't cope with.

       It's only after they meet a girl who isn't really a girl, or human, and escapeto an orbiting prison planet that things begin to get heavy. The news that they must overcome an army of mutant prisoners, get back to the first alien planet and save that - all in one week, is when things begin to spiral somewhat.

       Oh, and they only have one week before the Earth is destoyed. No pressure, then.

      This was a very fun book to read. It's about 3 young men who travel to other planets. Their adventures were unique the humor was placed in just the right spots.
