Play Date Sensory Experiences: Parent Resource Series, #3
By S Kelley
()
About this ebook
Fun, basic sensory activities for various ages
Suitable for various ages and play dates
Primary focus on motor planning (praxis), proprioception and vestibular input, with integration of other sensory systems
As a parent of a special needs child, Dr. Kelley found that as she searched for materials regarding her own child’s needs, they were sparse and often not parent friendly. As a promise to her son and families in need, she has developed a parent version of many of the books she’s developed in an effort to allow parents access to materials that would otherwise be restricted by having access to a therapist. That being said, it should be noted, in no way are these materials meant to replace a trained therapist; however, many of the activities developed can easily be implemented by families without challenge. The Parent Resource Series strives to be an easy-to-use resource for families seeking tools and activities for their child, regardless of disability or ability.

Dedication
This book is gratefully and gracefully dedicated to all the families and team members that I have shared in my journey.
This is for you.
Acknowledgements
This book and my work as an occupational therapist are made possible by the support and love of many wonderful people. I would like to thank my mentors, colleagues, and team members over the years, over the miles. Each experience has been unique and rewarding and I am thankful to have shared them with you.
I would like to acknowledge my husband for his unwavering support and love. To my parents and grandparents, you have provided me with the foundation for which I have remained grounded.

Special Thanks
To my son. Without your life, love and perseverance I would never know my own strength.
Let Go. Let God.
