    I'm Blessed - Shane O'Garro

    Introduction

    I gotta come back

    I gotta get back

    Backsliding is a joke

Because every time I wanna sin, I chock

Not by my choice, but by His grace

He set me in my place

If it was up to me, I would've kissed that girl

    And destroyed my family

    That man I would've hurled

    And destroyed my ministry

But it was by his mercy

    My savior never destroyed me

    Because I'm not physically perfect

This body, I done wrecked it

    But it's this perfect soul

    That's the only toll

I need to get into heaven

    He Is

I press forward to the mark

Tarrying for my time to get caught

    Never off by one point

Put down that drink and joint

    Pay attention !!!

    Signs are showing His returning

    So cast all those burdens

    And live for his glory

So what, we all got a story

    That don't mean nothing

He's still the King of all Kings

    God of all Gods

And when He comes back, He's coming hard

    All praises due to Him

The only one who could live without sin

    HE IS

    Magnificent this, great that

Commander of all, that's a fact

Could raise you up or lay you out flat

The embodiment of Love, the whole act

Wait wait I wanna tell why I love my God

Keep me straight when times were hard

    Drop little sprinkles of miracles

    When I wasn't living spiritual

Keep me out of harms way

Paid my bills when there was no money to pay

Gave me food when there was none

Saved my life when they wanted to use guns

I don't know where I'm going, but I know where I came from

    Drug dealers, pimps and those

    Stolen cars, women & clothes

Thugged down to the way I dress

In all rights, I was a mess

    But He changed me

    Then he clothe me

    Then he blessed me

    HE IS

    Magnificent this, great that

Keeper of life, that's a fact

    Led me without a map

The embodiment of Love, the whole act

    He is

    Why I live

    Purpose for my kids

The mother I wish I had

My father who forgives when mad

The best friend who won't steal your girl

The one who has in his hand the whole world

    The one that comforts me

    The king that crowns me

    He keeps me from pestilence

The one who gives me an inheritance

The one I can talk with

In all truth the one I walk with

    The being of everlasting thought

The one that knows my heart

The one that sets me right

    The keeper of everlasting life

    HE IS

    Magnificent this, great that

The only one that got my back

The sole reason I don't need a strap

The embodiment of Love, the whole act

    Sometimes

Sometimes I look at my life

sometimes I wonder if I am right

    Sometimes I question my existence

and sometimes I am longing for your presence

    Sometimes I see the end

sometimes I see all those who pretend

Sometimes I feel tempted to my max

and sometimes I feel like I’m trapped

sometimes I work like a slave

and still, my bills aren’t paid

Sometimes I’m too stressed to care

sometimes as strong as I am, I still fear

But sometimes I call on His name

And I feel, maybe, then things won’t be the same

And Sometimes I cry and pray

Then I hope things work out better then I can say

Sometimes my kids get to me

    Sometimes my wife test me

    by truly pushing me

and sometimes I can’t take me

    Sometimes I fall

Sometimes I’m so low, I can crawl

Sometimes my job challenges my sanity

and Sometimes there is no food in the pantry

Sometimes I don’t see the light at the end

Sometimes I don’t have enough money to lend

Sometimes my gas light comes on

and sometimes I don’t have a feel good song

But sometimes I call on His name

And then a little surer, knowing things won’t be the same

And Sometimes I cry and pray

Then I dream things will work out better then I can say

Sometimes I go on my knees

    And then I see

    Sometimes I pray for me

and then I know my destiny

Sometimes the Holy Spirit fills me

and then I feel He which is in me

    Sometimes I read his word

and then I have the strength to fly like a bird

    Sometimes I taste and see

and then I know He truly loves me

    Sometimes I have pain

But then I think to how Jesus came

and how he suffered his pain

    So I may be free

Sometimes I call on His name

And I know things can’t be the same

    Sometimes I cry and pray

Then I know, without a doubt, it will be better then I can say

    All I am saying

that while the devil keeps playing

    and things aren’t working

    Just keep on Praying

    Dark Rooms Bright

    Pay my tithes on Sunday

Struggle to get through on Monday

    Study His Word everyday

Because home is where I'm going someday

    So I wrestle to
