Jorge Zapparoli

Jorge Zapparoli, a former soldier, currently an aircraft, missile, and spacecraft engineer and an impassioned and motivated children’s writer, striving to influence and entertain readers through descriptive writing. He provokes imagination, sparks intellectuality, and transports the mind of the readers by cultivating an enthusiasm for learning. Creating characters with unique qualities and personalities, his cherished readers can emotionally connect with the contemporary style described. Jorge is confident with the art of crafting magical scenes while engaging historical facts and scientifically sound ideas, and resolving conflict with young champions in the timeline. He goes further than merely illustrating a picture with words; the composed landscape comes alive, and readers are able to experience it.So where did I get the idea about The Histonauts? I got interested in history since I was in seventh grade. But then, my life and my career took me into the world of aerospace. Hence, the term Histonauts or someone who travels through time. I do believe in the power of reading, knowledge, and self-reliance in young children as keys to success in their future. Subsequently, this is where the idea of the Chronica Librarium came; a way to connect all of the libraries that have existed from ancient times to the present, with magic, of course. The purpose and the mission of the Histonauts is to instill the desire, the curiosity, and the inspiration for learning in children.

"In the long road of history…

Where time goes fast and slow, time stops and moves, time is bright and dark, time is happy and gloomy, and time is sweet and bitter.

Where every leaf of a tree, every blade of grass, every petal of all flowers of every plant.

Where every bee, every butterfly, every firefly, every grasshopper, every dragonfly, every centipede, every insect.

Where every rabbit, every bear, every squirrel, every deer, every animal.

Where every hawk, every dove, every hummingbird, every cardinal, every robin, every hawk, every bird.

Where every cloud, day or night.

Where every star in the Cimmerian sky.

Where all and everything are tangled by the rain, the sun, the wind, and the snow.

Where we are just travelers immersed in the beauty of all.

    Where everything has a reason.

Where there is a time for every purpose.

Take enough time to dream and plenty of time to do and make. Time is plentiful.

All the time in the world is in a book, there is so much going-on between the covers of books, and they take us to far-away lands.

Books are doors to dream worlds!

…So tells the tale in the ancient and mystical Isle of Apples, a place located nowhere in particular, but placed anywhere…

HEY GUYS, GUUUYS! Francescca yelled at her group of best friends as she was barging down the school's main hallway with such excitement and almost out-of-breath. Her long black hair swung over her glasses. Guess what! YOU are NOT going to believe THIS! The girls stood in a circle just outside the school's library, just down from a water fountain and a glass case containing pictures and trophies. They were all talking over each other. WAIT! WHAT? There is no way, you got to be kidding! What do you mean? Violins, flying horses, magic, and history! The school bell rang at Saint Mary Elementary and Middle School. As the girls were leaving the corridor to the classrooms, the lights dimmed and flickered inside the library. The rest of the students hurriedly dispersed into the music room, the technology room, the gym, and to the main office.

The hallway chatter and laughter gradually ceased. Seconds later all seemed tranquil inside the school's library. A book all by itself fell from the middle of the top shelf of a bookcase. Then, another, and another. The whole set of shelves shook and the top three shelves emptied out sending books flying all over the library. The bookcase itself leaned forward just to its tipping point before coming back with a loud thump to its original position. Slightly out of place, it rested against the wall. Imperceptibly against the early morning sunlight, the lights flickered again and the computer screens blinked just before turning themselves off.

Suddenly, Go, go! Run fast! The voice of a young girl shouted and she came out of the bookcase landing on her legs. Then she ran again and dived head first into the bookcase on the opposite wall. We are just right behind you another young girl yelled as she landed and tumbled over her head once, nearly avoiding a chair and an easel. She also nosedived into the same bookcase as the first girl had dived into. A young boy followed both girls. He landed on his left leg rolling over on the floor to his left, he got up and looked around for a moment or two. I see you, he shouted. Then he ran and also dived but legs first into the same bookcase. Right after the boy, another girl landed on the floor. She bounced up and slid across the top of a table ending up on top of a chair then springing headfirst into the same bookcase where everyone else had disappeared into. I see you too and I think we lost them, she yelled as she dived. More books from all over the library landed on the floor and some sheets from the old-style easel lifted for a few seconds.

A Flintlock musket muzzle and a bayonet attached go it bit by bit appeared out of the same bookcase from where the
