And tells the story of three field mice Rachel, Jack and Uncle Olivier who whilst out exploring the village one winters day become caught up in a snow storm. They take shelter in a small village theatre and very soon an action packed magical adventure unfolds.

The story is based on an actual event, when one November evening a little field mouse took shelter from the cold in the lighting room of Davenham Players Theatre, Cheshire, England, during a production of "An Inspector Calls". All stories by Michael R Beddard carry an underlying theme around repaying kindness shown by others. The story and illustrations can be enjoyed alone or shared.
