    Introduction

    When does less and simple mean more? In the kitchen! When it comes to cooking, I personally believe that no matter how much you love to cook (and, trust me, I LOVE to cook) the more complex and the longer the list of called for ingredients, the less likely you are to cook something from scratch. It’s similar to buying exercise equipment or programs that look and sound great on those jazzy infomercials, yet in reality, they are much too complex to follow through with in the long term. Simple and fresh ingredients, with simple preparation techniques, mean that no matter what your level of kitchen expertise might be you are much more likely to be inspired to prepare fresh homemade meals for you and your family that are far superior in both taste and nutritional value than restaurant food, and certainly over fast food and processed foods that line most grocery story shelves.
