    Humanity...humanity was His greatest creation, the pinnacle of the grand design. Semjaza was bitter. How could the angels be viewed as being lower than the newly created humans? Just look at them, cavorting about in their nakedness without a care in the world! Their women evoked passions that he, in all the eons, had never experienced.

    Semjaza was an archangel. His aquiline features were furnished with burnished skin and his snow-white wings basked in heavens glow. He was also known as Saraqu-el and he was one of the seven. His main task was to watch over the angels, to ensure that they fulfilled all their tasks. One of the other six was Micha-el, who was set over mankind and also over chaos. His features resembled that of Semjazas' with the one exception; he was stronger and more muscular. This galled Semjaza. Micha-el was also known as the angel of war as well as the merciful and long-suffering one. Then there was the archangel, Uri-el. He was thinner and paler than his counterparts and he was the watcher set over the world and also the watcher set over the netherworld.

    The fourth was Rapha-el, the angel set over the spirits of men. Ragu-el's main purpose was to ensure that all, the starry host follow the paths set out for them, whether they were suns, stars or comets. These two angels could have been twins. Gabri-el, the second, also known as the messenger, was set over the Cherubim, Paradise and the serpents and all other powers. He was slightly taller than his fellow archangels and always seemed to tower over them all. Last of the seven was Remi-el, whose task it was to watch over those who
