About this ebook

You’re a very complex person, everyone is. And life is a complex process. Put the two together and that’s a lot of complexity. It’s easy to lose balance in all of that. Balance is hard to achieve, and easy to lose. It affects every area of life, from health to communication and every outcome you will ever have.

How we relate to each other, how we function as individuals, and how we function in life is determined by our personal balance. Learning what that means and how to get back into balance is necessary if you want to stop getting caught up in the daily chaos of life. You can stay even and calm in an uneven and unpredictable world.

    Preface

Your body is comprised of hundreds of trillions of cells that create thousands of individual parts. These all work together through billions of communications per second. Most people can’t communicate one topic clearly in ten minutes! Your body works better at communicating billions of messages (a second!) than people do getting one thing across. Why?

Every single thing is part of something bigger. The more anything works in sync, the more everything works out together. But you have to be in sync for things to work out well, otherwise they either fall apart or work out badly. Being in sync means you’re in balance.

Your body only stays healthy when those billions of communications are synced up with each other. Otherwise your body isn’t as healthy as it could be. In every area of life, things have to connect for a good outcome. You could talk to an audience for an hour without getting anything across if you’re not in sync with both your audience and what you’re saying. This is how a lot of people spend a lot of time…saying a lot of nothing. What you’re saying can have important meaning but if it’s not getting across to your audience, it’s meaningless.

The whole world functions this way: filled with individual parts doing their thing while trying to stay in sync with everything around it. Our environment, global economy, and
