    INTRODUCTION

You've just toured an open house and the kitchen countertop, the stove, and the interior color combination are perfect. This is the style you tried to explain to a client who's trying to sell her house, but her attention was divided the last time you met with her and her family. She focused on the paperwork you gave her, her husband was out of town, and her kids needed dinner.

You didn't get the chance to point out specific tips that would make the house sell for the upper end of the market's asking price.

If you had a blog with a post titled 5 Ways to Boost Your Home's Chance for a Quick Sale then you could tell her you were sending her the link. During a quiet moment, she could read your advice and see sample pictures. A follow-up phone call to make sure she read the post would show her you care, and she could tell you directly if she had indeed read and understood your advice. It would deepen a connection and you could ask her to email the post to someone else who may have a similar need.

You walk out of the open house and catch up with the weekly caravan. Writing a blog may be a good idea but where do you get the time to write posts, find pictures to upload with the words, and struggle to find topics on a consistent basis. You might get some exposure, but it doesn't seem worth the effort. Plus, the number of refrigerator magnets you've mailed out the last three years could swamp an appliance store.

Blogs are a good idea, you conclude, but to do one properly you'd have to hire a freelance writer because, heck, you're not really a writer.

While I'm available to write blog content for real estate agents, the purpose of this ebook is to give you content ideas and a structure to help you create a quality blog post at least once per week and generate local search traffic. I believe you can find the time to write if you organize ideas and place them inside a structure. This lets you think in a particular format while you're on a
