    Introductions

    . . . For Ministers

    A star has arisen on the spiritual horizon of our state. His beams of pristine glory and power will fall upon many before his ministry is finished. He is a minister called of Cod. He has many talents but he has chosen to use them for the glory of the Lord. I am speaking to you about our speaker for this hour, Mr. ________.

    *     *     *

    Once in a generation a man is called of God to stand out above others as a great leader and preacher. Such a man is our speaker for today. He has celestial power from on high. He urges the people to repent and turn to faith in Jesus, our Lord. We are indeed fortunate that he could take time from a very busy schedule and come to bring our message today.

    *     *     *

    Not since the days of William Jennings Bryan has a popular public speaker received the resounding acclaim and praise that has befallen our speaker for today. He is the pastor of a large church yet he finds time to answer the demands of the people ever to go afield and speak in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is so popular as a speaker there are times when his wife asks for an audience so she can talk to him for brief periods. Seriously, we are blessed to have Bro.___________ today and will hear him gladly.

    *     *     *

    Our speaker for today is Mr. ___________. He is pastor of the church in ___________. We feel he will bless us greatly as he speaks from many years of experience and background as a pastor. People who belong to his church tell me he never speaks without inspiring them to work harder for the cause of Christ. We are so glad to have this great and good man in our own church today.

    *     *     *

    As I have had the privilege to listen to Dr. ___________ from time to time I have asked myself, How does he do it?

    He carries on as a pastor, as worker in civic projects in his city, as a husband and father, and does a great deal of counseling work.

    Today he will speak to us on a subject very close to his heart, a subject to which he has given much time and thought. I recommend that we listen with attention as we hear this dynamic man.

    *     *     *

    I count it an honor to be asked to introduce our speaker for today. He is one of the most gifted speakers I have ever known. After you hear him I believe you will resolve to live more effectively for the Lord about whom he comes to tell us.

    *     *     *

    As I arranged my thoughts regarding our speaker of the hour, I realized what an influence he has had on my own life. He is the type of man who never speaks unless he has something to say. He has something to say so people like to listen to him. We anticipate a great time together. He is a busy pastor. He ranks especially high in the eyes of his fellow townsmen, having been pastor in the city of __________ for a number of years. We count it a blessing that you came our way today.
