About this ebook

The bank job went bad, and only five of the six members of that wild bunch of robbers managed to ride out of town. Cold-hearted Clance and his men are wounded and on the run, fleeing the federales that already claimed one of his men's lives. As they race deeper into the wilderness, they soon discover they are prey to an enemy more relentless than any bounty hunter. An unusual evil rides this trail of dust and worms . . .

Writing from the heart of Texas, it was only a matter of time before Daniel R. Robichaud tried his hand at a weird western. The result is a powerful mix of atmosphere and terror, a gruesome exploration of the dark side of frontier life and the transgressors who ride outside the lines of law and order.

    About the Author

    Dust and Worms

We were riding as fast as the damn horses could go. Surprisingly quick, when you take into account how tuckered out the animals really were...

Behind us twirled a cloudy trail of grit and road dust. The wind whipped those clouds into baby twisters, which danced like blood hungry demons. Yeah, there was a sanguine trail too, though you would have to squint to see it. The Law had trackers that made a living on squinting, so we rode hard and fast.

Six of us had ridden into town, cold cash on our minds, cold steel at our sides and hungry fingers itching for either.

Five of us rode out like lightening, gunning for our lives
