      I like this series, but the ones that take place in Scotland are my favorite. It might have something to do with my obsession with men in kilts. In this one we finally get to read Guthrie and Calla's story. Guthrie is the last of the quadruple MacNiell brothers and the financial planner for the pack. Calla is a party planner and childhood friend of Guthrie's brother, Cearnach. These two are attracted to each other, but are trying to keep clear of each other since both are worried about being in rebound relationships. They were cute together and with all the mishaps that they dealt with a few were actually pretty funny. I liked that a lot of the pack are involved with this story and look forward to reading about more matings.Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

      4.5-4.75 StarsA delicious Scottish werewolf romance! The plot is fast-paced and the story keeps the readers' interest for the entire novel. The romance is playful and hot and I love the Christmas winter setting in Scotland. Both of the MCs are loveable, even as they recover from past wounds, as is the whole clan. Each one has a depth you don't always get in quick and easy reads. This book is part of a series, but like the other novels, you may read this one as a stand-alone (but go back and read the others if you haven't already). I look forward to the next one.       Review courtesy of All Things Urban FantasyA HIGHLAND WOLF CHRISTMAS is a wonderfully sweet holiday romance stock full of kilted Scotsmen (well more like Scotswerewolves) who relish in sword fighting and castles with many a hidden nook to have your romantic trysts underneath a mistletoe. Both Calla and Guthrie are featured in previous book in this series so it was neat to finally see more of these two and learn about their lives. These books can be read as a standalone so Calla’s wedding debacle is very easily explained for those who are just starting the series out with this book.The plot is well paced with some fun action scenes in it. Calla is a strong and independent business woman so naturally having Guthrie being her bodyguard leads to some annoyances on Calla’s part. My favorite fight scenes revolve around some hilarious hijinks Guthrie gets involved in at a few of Calla’s parties. I liked the little twist involving Calla’s ex as I spent most of the story thinking that his stalking was a simple case of being a jilted fiance who is just very obsessive about wanting her back.Calla and Guthrie make an adorable couple and I kept rooting for these two to make up their minds already about their feelings for eachother. Both of them are reeling from their past relationships and have to come to terms with what they went through. They eventually work out their issues through some very playful and sweet flirting that eventually leads to much more.HIGHLAND WOLF CHRISTMAS is a perfectly sexy Scottish werewolf romance that will get you into the Christmas spirit no matter what the season you read it in.
