About this ebook

From beginning stages of love to the end of a partnership, there are poems that dive into the anger and anguish of a love gone silent, the anxiety and anticipation of a new relationship and the lust of a love slipping away. Love and relationships have two sides, and this collection weaves though both.

Robert Frasco

My name is Robert Frasco. I grew up in West Paterson, NJ which is now known as Woodland Park. As a young teenager, I realized during my early high school experiences that writing was my outlet for my thoughts, my feelings, my anger, my jubilation. My everything. Although there have certainly been periods when the ink has been too dry to put it to paper and collect my thoughts, writing has really been a mainstay throughout my adult life. I am happy, anxious and excited to share my first collection with you and hope that you will enjoy and perhaps relate along the way to the journey that is heart(less).

    Heart(less) - Robert Frasco

this book is dedicated to my dad. if there was any one man that displayed what the word heart meant, it was him. He embodied it. He was selfless. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

In Loving Memory of Louis Butch Frasco

sent by God with wings to guide,

    that was You.

    You granted every wish,

    You made our lives enriched,

    that was You.

like an angel brought to us by God,

    You were there.

    You cared beyond belief,

    You loved beyond your reach,

    that was You.

every smile, every laugh You gave,

will live on with us forever…

    not just today,

    but each and every day.

    Love always…RIP

    preface

writing has always been a passion of mine. i can remember sitting in class and daydreaming and just writing a poem about anything. so my writing continued over the years. some periods of my life i could write almost every day while other periods i couldn’t write much at all. i never lost the passion for it and it was my only way to express myself privately.

ever been in love? ever been scorned by it? we’ve all been in relationships. some of us have shared more love than others. some of us have found the person with whom we decided to spend the rest of our life with little effort. meanwhile, others are seekers on a seemingly never ending quest to find the ideal mate. certainly, there are some of us who’ve learned not to care about long term
