    Lawrence Adeniyi Lasisi was a radical Muslim before he gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1983 at the Christ Apostolic Church (Agbala Itura) Ibadan, Nigeria. He was subsequently called into full time Christian vocation at the same church under the tutelage of Prophet (Dr.) S. K. Abiara. In 1990 he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology degree from Christ Divinity College, Erinmo Ijesha, Nigeria. Following this, between 1991 and 1994 he went to Canada to complete his Master of Divinity with honors at Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Subsequently, he completed another Master of Arts degree in Islamic Studies at Hartford Seminary, Hartford Connecticut, USA, in 1998. Later, he earned a PhD Degree in International Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California, USA in 2001. Dr. Lasisi has ministered in Nigeria, USA and Canada and many lives and homes have been transformed through his down to earth gospel message of hope and deliverance. Presently, he is the General Overseer of Springs of Hope Christian Ministries worldwide with headquarters in Long Beach, California. He is married to Grace and they have been blessed with three promising children.

      Preface

      Jesus Christ: Our Anchor of Hope

       The Bible clearly affirms that our Hope in God is the sure Anchor of our destiny in Hebrews Chapter 6 verse 19. By the way, what is an anchor? Interestingly, an anchor can be a person or a place. On the one hand, this may be a person who is in charge of a program and a referee or an empire who coordinates a particular sport for it not to be out of control.  On he other hand, an anchor may be a place of safety at the harbor for the ship. This is a place of refuge and safety for the ship after a tempestuous voyage at the sea.

       Definitely, for believers in Christ, our Hope in God is the sure Anchor for our destiny in the middle of the challenges and storms of life. But this Hope is not a strategy or a method or a program. Our Sure Hope is a Person. It is the Person of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and resurrected on the third day to secure our eternity. So if you have Jesus Christ in your life and home you can rise above every challenge and storm of life. Please I invite you to examine these devotional messages of Hope so as to rule and reign in the land. Please accept Jesus Christ today for whatever and whoever He controls can never be out of control.

      Dearly Beloved: '’I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty Revelation 1:8 (KJV).In our text today, God said I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. The Lord is saying Whatever you are looking for is in me So why do you compromise? Stop cutting corners and stop the running around, seek Him. When you have Him, you have all you are looking for. No matter how big your situation or challenge is, it is not bigger than the Alpha but subject to the Alpha. The bible says in Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church". So you see, everything has been placed under his feet that is to say that all things are subject to Him. What are you encountering as an individual that God cannot fix? Beloved, it is within God’s control.

      Whatever situation and circumstance you are facing right now, God knows about it and He is out to fix it. All things are working out together for your good and very soon, you will testify. God knows how to bring out beauty from the ashes and specializes in bringing joy out of the pains of life, testimony from the test of life, triumph from the trials we encounter, victory from the tempest and glory from the groans of our lives. I declare joy, peace, triumph and testimonies for you as you go out today. The mountains and the hills will bow down before you and the trees shall clap their hands at your coming. You will return with singing and everlasting joy shall be your portion in JESUS name.

      Dearly Beloved: Then spoke Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon: and thou Moon in the valley of Ajalon Joshua 10:12 .

      I come your way today to challenge you to refuse to allow anything stop your uplift. Joshua had a battle to fight, but the approaching dusk meant the enemy of God's people would have had the opportunity of escaping. Rather than lose the battle that day, Joshua decided to activate the word, and the word prevailed. For the first time, mortal man commanded the sun to stand still and God honored his request, even creation had no choice than to co-operate with him.

      Child of God, I encourage you right now to make a quality decision that nothing would stand in your way from receiving all that God has purposed for your life. Refuse to take a No for an answer, put a stop to whatever the enemy is fashioning against your life. You have all it takes to succeed and become all God wants you to be if you refuse to allow anything stop you. Heaven and creation will cooperate with you if you are determined.

      Know that your victory is your right and refuse to let go until it manifest. Don't give up and don't give in; God is on your side. You are a winner. God will honor His word in your life. I declare that for your shame, God will give you double.

      Dearly Beloved: ''But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen'' 2 Peter 3:18 (KJV). We are in a time when the activities of the enemy are on the increase, but the good news is that the grace of God abounds even much more. This is the best time for the believer to be alive; because while it is getting darker in the world, it is actually getting brighter in the church. What that simply means is that you have enough grace to navigate your way in spite of what you see around you.

      The grace of God upon your life is intended by God to take you high above contrary situations and circumstances so that you can soar where others are crawling. In other words, when men are saying that there is a casting down, you are saying there is a lifting up. That is what makes you different from the world because they cannot understand how you function.

      Beloved, in a world such as ours today, you really cannot function without the grace of God upon your life, because everything is designed to work against you. If God does not help you, there is no way you can make it. Functioning by the grace of God is just the starting point; but the truth is that you need to grow in that grace. In other words, for you to be strong in the grace of God, you must grow in it. Since growth can only come through the knowledge of Jesus Christ, you must take a quality decision to get to know Him intimately.
