On Haral, his faithful, black Feridoon pony, and with the beautiful, red-haired Thyra at his side, Kadji rode East to vanquish his foe: knowing full well that if he failed to decapitate Yakthodah, he would be branded coward - and worse."SCIENCE FANTASY ADVENTURE AT ITS BEST"An entertaining enough sword and sorcery tale from Lin Carter although a large part of the plot and characterisation is lifted from Harold Lamb's 'Kirdy'.Carter placed 'The Quest Of Kadji' into his Kylix series, the idea being to write a series of fantasy novels each based on a different planet in a fictional solar system. 5 novels were planned but apart from 3 short stories no more novels appeared after the third, 'Kellory The Warlock', in 1984.
