About this ebook

The Adventures of Frizbee is my first published book, but it will not be the last. I have created a series of fictional books about Dachshunds based upon our many years of experiences with the breed through ownership, fostering and even puppy sitting. I have also carefully woven in information and education about Dachshund Rescue and Dachshund Service dogs. Education of the public is making a big difference in dog rescue and I want to do my part. The dogs are fiction and the people are fiction. But each one has a story. Come laugh with me and cry with me on adventure after adventure. Stella Dillenbeck

    Foreword

Animal abuse is now a felony in all fifty states. It is about time. Rescue organizations have made headway in reduction of breeding, hoarding and abusing of animals by educating the public, lobbying for stiffer laws and recruiting volunteers for rescue efforts. More can be done; more needs to be done.

Dachshunds are our breed of choice. We rescued and adopted our first Dachshund in 1993. We were hooked. Since then we have rescued, adopted, fostered and puppy sat for friends’ Dachshunds. Their stories were just waiting to be told. And that is where I come in.

I love to tell stories. It is in my Native American roots. I have woven various experiences with Dachshunds into my stories, but the stories themselves are fictional. The dogs and the people in the stories are fictitious. Any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental. I trust you will find my stories informational and
