    Chapter 1: The Pact.

In this little known wildlife park, Hare and Lion lived as allies. Their relationship was a closely guarded secret. But if the truth be told, Lion did not want to be accused of feeding on tidbits. It was the King of the jungle and as King it had a variety of edible big game at its disposal. It would have been beneath it to hunt and eat hares. This still has not been made public. I am taking a high risk to tell you about it. If you hear I am in trouble with Lion, it will most probably be because of this story. I know some of you cannot be trusted to keep your mouths shut.
