About this ebook

Historical fact and mythological stories intertwine throughout this genealogy leading to an unknown magician. Many of our questions are answered when the magical element is added to both the historical element and the mythological element. A genealogy that leads to an unknown magician puts it closer to our reality. From the fall of the Tower of Babel to the worship of the Palladium, from Dionysus to Snow White, and from the founding of Rome to King Arthur Pendragon, no story has ever been told revealing the true magic involved. Bottom line, in a world of magic, far better records would be kept. The very word “nobility” is not added lightly. The lines of kings and dynasties that popped up at every turn in the research were nothing less than magic not to mention a few Knights, and Grail and Fisher Kings. From Greek mythology, the gods and goddesses were found to be very real and very human in this family line. As far back as 1915 BC, you can time travel with a man named Janus. Jump with one of the first “Jumpers” to the year ad 480. A jumper named Emryss can take you to meet the great magician, Merlin, who is her descendant. Yes! There are both jumpers and time travelers in this bloodline. Go back to the year ad 1150 and rent a horse-drawn sleigh to cross the icy Thames. Or better yet, stroll through Whitehall in the year 1560, where Dr. Ruge walked to work everyday and puzzled over the secret construction that he saw through basement windows of the new Parliament building. These ancient magical families, as well as their areas of expertise, are now made known. This is a story of how the magical element grew to become a very real possibility.

    Introduction

Sometimes to satisfy one's own curiosity, one must take up the quill. On a day in 2006, filled with boredom, I picked up my grandson's Sorcerer Stone! Suddenly my own childhood began to unfold before me. I was never human. I was always a spirit. I lived in the spirit world even though I had a Mom and a Dad, and three very human sisters. I even had an imaginary friend, Alice, whom I met in-the-flesh when I got to high school. I had so many strange dreams and visions throughout my young life that always came true! My sisters made a game out of that!

But back to 2006, I ended up reading the Harry Potter series six times over. I related to all of it through and through right down to the troll that was always a part of my father's bedtime story. Halfway through my seventh read, I put it down and ask myself, Where could all these people have come from? I started looking up names on the Internet! Genealogy, I suppose, is what I was doing. All of the names began to come together to make real families. Possible origins of magic started taking shape! The fascinations became reality. All the gods I kept bumping into were found to be very real, very human people in their human lives. All the real people were found to be more than just ordinary humans. Of course, in a genealogy, there are still a lot of ordinary people. That's a given, but in this book you will find the ordinary becomes the very extraordinary. The little stories written with each name in this very long genealogy could very well have been the beginnings of magic in its purist form.

This genealogy is written the way I wrote my own personal family genealogy. I wrote a story next to each person's name. This genealogy is written because my curiosity would not allow me to put it down. The stories are written about actual historical events and Greek mythological stories. They are fantasies of wizards and witches, prophets and seers, ghosts and fairies, time travelers and jumpers, and giants and dwarfs to name a few. The lines of kings and chieftains had some of the most fantastic stories. The lines of regular people also had some of the most fantastic stories. They all lead to a magical world that every person on earth can relate to in some form or other. In this genealogy, I relate to King Arthur as the unknown soldier and at the end of this genealogy I lead you to the unknown magician. This book, Nature's Nobility Revealed, explains the origins of many of our favorite mythical and magical characters and creatures. It explains where most of our ideas about magical worlds might have come from. It could be an answer, for some people, to all of their questions, but most of all it is a fantastical story of both real and mythical people in their family element. Beware! It is not written in a normal book format. It does have Chapters, but it also has genealogical charts before each paragraph and even in between each Chapter for the very detailed reader. Each generation of families has a different story about what is happening in their life, in their time.

    CHAPTER ONE

FROM ADAM AND EVE TO NOAH

    ~

    ADAM AND EVE

    ~

CAIN TO NAAMAH - WIFE OF NOAH

Enoch I is the forgotten Enoch. So much is told about Seth's son, Enoch that it's as if this Enoch got pushed off the map instead of being lifted up into the heavens as Seth's Enoch was. Cain named the land of Nod after Enoch I. But to show the difference between the two Enochs of that time, they may have had to call the land Enochnod. The story of Cain's family was always passed down to us as the bad side of the family and Seth's was the good side.

    ~

    CAIN TO NAAMAH

Naamah's father, Lamech I, took two wives, Adah and Zillah, before there was ever such a word as 'polygamist'.

As a grandson of Cain, Lamech was destined for bad deeds. In the land of Nod, where he lived with his wives, he worked with metals. He made crude tools and weapons.

It was with one of these weapons that Lamech became the second person on earth to kill another person. That is how the 'vengeance of seven-fold' began here on earth. God said, Anyone who kills will suffer vengeance seven times over. When Lamech killed, he said, My curse is seventy times seven times more than the curse of Cain.

Naamah's brother, Jubal, played the harp and flute. He is called the forefather of all musicians.

Finally, her brother, Tubal-Cain, became a craftsman in bronze and iron. He was first to refine his metal craft making better and stronger pieces. It is possible that his father, Lamech, used one of Tubal-Cain's weapons to kill his victim. Zillah was also first to add a double name to a family member by giving Tubal the second name of Cain.

    ~

    SETH TO NOAH

Adam gave Seth the 'secret teachings'. Seth passed them down to all his generations. The Jewish Kabalah is said to be part of the scripture that Seth received. There were prophesies in these scriptures about Noah's flood, and also about the 'Tzaddikim' or 'Righteous One' who would come to save the world.

It might seem that different family members received different portions of these scriptures depending upon their interests and callings in life. If that truly was the case, then God's plan was for all to be involved collectively in the progression of our souls.

Azura was Adam and Eve's daughter. She married her brother Seth. The other siblings in the family went to the land of Nod to marry and to begin their families. It is said there were many more children, but only a few were recorded.

Nephilim was called a giant in the Bible. He was an over-sized human. All his children and grandchildren grew bigger than he and his wife. To gain peace in his life and his family's, he moved to the mountains to live. The families of the giants made their permanent homes there.

Enos was the first person to use God's name among groups of people other than the family. His Grandfather Adam had told stories to other family members around the campfires at night. Enos took those stories to the land of Nod and told as many people as he could. All languages have a different word for 'God'. In this text, I call Him God.

    ~

    SETH TO NOAH

Watcher was the name used for someone who stargazed in ancient times. Cainan was a watcher. Adam told Cainan about a special star that would come in the night heralding a child born to be a savior of the world. This was 'Tzaddikim' from the scripture that Adam gave to Seth. 3,500 years later, three wise men would be born in Cainan's family. They would be taught this story at a very young age and they would grow up to be watchers. These men would see the star and follow it without hesitation, driven by a legend handed down in their family for so long that many only remembered that the world's very existence depended upon this star and the child born underneath it.

The story of Enoch II, well, it is what it is! And period! End of story!. Enoch II lived a very long life, but Enoch II did not die! He lived a good and righteous life and one day God just called him over and said, Come with me. He was carried away into the heavens.... In front of everyone!

Methuselah was the oldest known living man. It had nothing to do with magic of any kind. In the beginning days of human life on earth, the air was not polluted, the crops were not over fertilized, and the earth was new and clean. Some people think God's time was different from the way we record time today. Some people don't have an opinion one way or another. Our differences make us who we are.

    ~

    NOAH AND NAAMAH

In 2424 BC, God told Noah to build the ark. Noah wrote down as much as he could of the instructions he received from God. Included in these scrolls were directions to gather two animals of each kind and bring them onto the boat. These instructions exist to this very day.

Noah's sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth helped to build the ark. Seventy-eight years later, the rains came and they moved into the finished ark with their wives. The family spent most of the year 2346 BC living in the ark out on the open seas. They took care of all the animals in the ark. It was their home for one hundred and fifty days of flooding and long enough after for the deepest floodwaters to dry up. The run-off and drying took two hundred and twenty days for a total of three hundred and seventy days.

In Greek mythology, Noah was called Uranus, and Naamah was called Gaia. These two people were deified and made god and goddess by the Greeks. In ancient times, a person who took initiative and went beyond the realm of day-to-day life was lifted up in the eyes of regular people. Noah definitely had greatness because no one had ever built a boat of that magnitude.

Naamah, on the other hand, was a magnificent swimmer. While living on the ark, she rallied the larger mammals of the sea around the ark and made sure they stayed near and were safe. To be called Gaia, Naamah would have had to be responsible for unbelievably great feats. Her children become a living testament to her strength as a mother and a protector. They are the ones who populate and colonize the world as we know it today. They created her legend.

NOAH'S CHILDREN BORN AFTER THE FLOOD

The story of Oceanus and Tethys is born out of Greek mythology. Tethys is very much like her mother, Naamah. She marries her brother, Oceanus, and they have more children than anyone in the known world has ever seen or heard of! That alone is enough to be awarded a title such as Goddess.

Noah and Naamah had many more children after the flood. It was said that many were female. The names of most of the children were never recorded anywhere. Rhea and Araxa were the youngest females to have their names remembered down through the generations.

There are two players in this genealogy appearing now, who will be very important to future generations. Noah's son, Cranus, and his Grandson Javan, are key. Cranus will lead us to Hippocrates. Javan will lead us to the kings of Rome. They cross over many times in families such as, Odysseus and Penelope, Gaius Julius Caesar, and King Arthur Pendragon.

    NOAH'S GREAT FLOOD

The stories leading up to the flood, of families turning away from Noah, were many and very sad. To God, the earth had become a wasteland of people worshipping all the wrong things. In 2424 BC, when He gave Noah the instructions for building the ark, He told Noah some of these tales of what his own people were doing in the world. He asked Noah to keep the names of his family before him and to tell the story of Adam and Eve so it would not be lost. He made sure Noah knew where to find the scriptures he had given Seth's family and he made sure Noah knew who to give them to so they would be passed down to the watchers in search of the star. It was important to God that there be a people called the Magi who would continue passing down the legend of a savior.

God went further to warn Noah about the Nephilim. These were the descendants of Seth's son, Nephilim, the giant. He told Noah that there would be only a very few who would survive the flood and they would be the children. They would need to be taught goodness and mercy. Today, the mountains where Nephilim took his family to live are called the Zagros. They are in modern Iran, east of the Tigris River. Mount Ararat, in today's Turkey is where Noah sent out the dove to find land. God is an awesome God, because He felt remorse for some of the people left out in the flood to die. He did not cover some of the highest mountain peaks. The good that were saved of Nephilim's descendants were proof of that.

Nephilim was a good man and taught his family to love God, just as his father had taught him. He moved away from his father's family because some of his children were growing much bigger than anyone expected. It was becoming dangerous to live around normal size humans. They discovered that the bigger they got the more unruly they became. They soon found that the largest giants were in great physical pain and could not control their actions. Along with this pain there was uncontrollable anger. When the floodwater got up to the knees of the giants, the giant children had the foresight to fill their packs with as much food as they could get in them. They climbed the peaks of the mountains, rather than try to swim as the older giants did. They sat on the peaks of the Zagros Mountains and survived. They learned how to swim and fish and wait. The mountain peak covered over but they noticed a gradual receding of the water right away. That is how the children knew the floodwaters would not last forever. And so the giants became part of the world.

    CHAPTER TWO

    THE CHILDREN OF NOAH

    ~

    SON OF NOAH

Greek mythology gave Japheth the name Iapetus. It was his clan who went on to create many European civilizations. He was attributed to seven children, however, the Greek influence would not rest until the famous, Atlas Italus, was added to the list.

Meshech traveled North to the cold country. His tribes were the Moschi and the Muscovites in what is now Russia.

Madai married Milcah, one of the many daughters of Noah's son Shem. He did not stay on the land his father, Japheth, gave him because he preferred to live in the south with Milcah and her family. The climate was much warmer there. He talked her brothers into sharing their land with him. He was the founder of the land of Medes in Persia that is the city of Media in Iran today.

Tiras is credited with Thracian culture, but many others claim his lineage. It is a very ancient culture and may just be a little older than Tiras himself. Never the less, he was traced to the Indo-European tribes who took land in the central and southeastern parts of Europe.

Tubal, like all the son's and grandson's of Noah, was said to have traveled across Eurasia, founding his first city in 2157 BC in Iberia. From there he went on to Italy, Spain, and Portugal. It is said that he had over 65,000 descendants when he died.

THE STORY OF GOG AND MAGOG

The story of Arathka's family plays a primary role in unveiling some of the mysteries of this genealogy. Arathka came from a very large family living in Mesopotamia. Her father's name was Bedwig and her mother's name was Zilknah. No one in her family believed what her father-in-law, Noah, was saying about the prophesy of a flood. Arathka believed Noah. On the second day after the rains began, Zilknah came to talk to Arathka and told her she had always believed Noah's story, but she could not get Bedwig to listen to her. She headed back home to try and convince him to come to the ark. Arathka lost sight of her. She had to continue loading the ark.

After the floodwaters receded in 2346 BC, Noah and his family found themselves by a river. They settled and went out from there rebuilding the world. To their amazement, they did find some resourceful people who survived the flood. Ham found Zilknah in his travels and brought her back to Japheth's tribe. She had taken a husband among his family. As fate would have it, she and her daughter, Arathka, gave birth that same year and on the same day to the boys Gog and Magog. Their sons grew up together along the Euphrates River. As little boys, they rained terror upon their families. They soon came to realize they had magical powers. They could make things happen! Zilknah's ancestors were the Scythians and Sumerians. Among them there was a huge population of magical people. She was determined to teach Gog to be a great leader and an even greater magician.

When Japheth parceled out land to his children, Magog was given land beside his brother, Gomer. Gog proceeded to talk Magog into letting him be the protector of his land. Gog went even further by allying with Gomer offering him protection of his land also. Gog was being paid by both brothers and became a feared and mighty protector to both.

Gog became famous, but the power he held made him delve more and more into evil magic. In time all the people began to fear the wrath of Gog and his magic.

Magog left his land and traveled to what is now Ireland and Sweden. He built colonies and safe havens for his people everywhere he went. He ruled with a fair hand in all the lands he migrated to and he had many sons and daughters. Magog knew what Gog had become and wanted no part of it. He never saw Gog again.

    ~

    SON OF NOAH

The very people whom the Greeks revered as gods are the ones in this line who became the most important. They were human and not gods when they walked upon the earth. They had initiative to lead and teach new things to their followers that no one had ever seen before. They were the innovators, so much so that people kept their memories alive long after their death. They called them gods and goddesses.

    ~

    SON OF JAPHETH

    GRANDSON OF NOAH

Gomer's descendants went on to colonize the Isle of Britain. Scut and Riphath had a large group of descendants who went to Celtic Gaul.

Ashkuz went to the land that became Germany. The Germanics returned to the family line later leading to the emperors of Rome.

Togarmah of Ur gained land in the Middle East. His family branched out to the Armenians and the Georgians. Some went to Turkey.

Irish genealogy finds Ibath and Riphath most often in their lineage. The Grail Kings are here in the time of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

In 2240 BC, Phenech became king of the Japhethites. He led the people in building the tower of Babel. It was finished in 2133 BC and it stood for 124 years. It fell in the year 2009 BC.

Two important families carried on the lines from Gomer's twin sons, Scut and Riphath. One is the family of Cronus and Rhea. The other is the family of Odysseus and Penelope.

    ~

JAVAN - SON OF JAPHETH, GRANDSON OF NOAH

ELECTRA I - DAUGHTER OF ATLAS ITALUS,

    GRANDDAUGHTER OF JAPHETH

Once again Greek mythology takes hold and gives credence to the great people who came from Noah's house. Javan was called Ion. The Greeks took the name of Ion down through history telling stories of great deeds. Ion soon became god-like. What he did was lead the people through hard times and build up the land that is now Greece.

His wife, Electra, was the second daughter of his younger brother, Atlas. With the story of Eve still very fresh in everyone's minds in 2200 BC, the female children were not even listed on the family scrolls. Atlas and Pleione were bound to change that. Their seven daughters were brought to the forefront of Greek mythology, first because of their father's greatness and second because of the lives they lived. Even in the world we live in today, women have wished for something as great as having a star named after them.

Javan's children grew up in a close-knit family setting. None of them traveled very far from home. They lived on the land their father gave them. Elishah and Kittim built the first colony where Cyprus, Greece is today. Tarshish built on land that is now Turkey. Dodanim went to the Isle of Rhodes between Cyprus and the Greek coastline.

    ~

    SON OF JAPHETH

    GRANDSON OF NOAH

Atlas might have been mistaken as being from the family of Nephilim because he was so large but he was not a giant. When he was a very young man, he went with his uncle, Mizraim, from Ham's family in a quest to rid the world of giants. He later met Pleione and they married and had all girls. These were the daughters who were memorialized in the stars as the Pleiades.

    SONS OF GOMER

    GRANDSONS OF JAPHETH

These four sons and grandsons of Gomer are a close family with twins marrying sisters who had sons on the same day of the same year. There is a difference in their lives in that one son, Scut, is never heard of. The other son, Riphath, becomes known as Riphath Scot, carrying on the family line to the Scots and to one of the first kings over the lands of Britain.

    ~

    SON OF RIPHATH

    GRANDSON OF GOMER

Scut was a great magician and Iesha was a witch who knew healing and herbs. During this time of very few magical people, Scut Riphath was the only true rival of Gog Bedwig.

When Gog heard about Scut, he traveled straightway to test his powers against such a powerful magician. He could not kill Scut, but he was able to curse him and his family. Together Iesha and Scut saved their family from the curse and gave them longevity as well with the mixture of herbs Iesha made.

    ~

    SON OF SCUT

    GRANDSON OF GOMER

The question among magicians was, Who was the best, Scut or Riphath? The story of Scut is intriguing, but his brother Riphath did not get his fame from a dual. Riphath Scot was more concerned with the welfare of his people. He went to the mountains and built his home alongside the Arimaspi people. He knew of the amber trade that flowed through their land and he wanted to become a trader. He succeeded at the trade and built a kingdom called the Riphaean people. They named the Riphaean Mountains after him.

    ~

    LINE OF GOMER

    SONS OF SCUT RIPHATH

    GRANDSONS OF RIPHATH

When the twins, Prometheus and Epimetheus, were born, Prometheus was born first. He was always the more levelheaded of the two. He traveled to Greece and found a home and family. Epimetheus followed him and did the same but Prometheus thought his choice of a wife was flawed. He tried to talk his brother out of marrying Pandora to no avail. Many people said she would bring more evil upon the family than Gog ever did. In truth, Pandora was a good witch who was led into thinking she was helping by watching over an enchanted box that she knew nothing about. As it turned out Epimetheus and Pandora were a perfect match since he was always one step behind his brother and she was clueless.

    ~

    SON OF RIPHATH SCOT

    GRANDSON OF SCUT

Joham's family lived by trading. They found amber in the surrounding mountains. They were not considered kings, but Joham was a leader over his people. There life was lived in cold country with hard times.

    ~

    LINE OF GOMER

    DEUCALION - SON OF PROMETHEUS

    PYRRHA - DAUGHTER OF EPIMETHEUS

    GRANDCHILDREN OF SCUT AND ALOHAH

Deucalion and his three sons were ship builders who engineered the finest dragon ships ever seen. He and his sons became the first shape shifters ever known in the magical world. It was said that Deucalion could teach an animal to walk and talk.

The famous flood of Deucalion was in the Mediterrean around 1528 BC. Both Deucalion and Pyrrha were almost 600 years old when the flood occurred. Their longevity was said to come directly from the herbs their Grandparents' Scut and Iesha, gave them when trying to save the family from Gog Bedwig's curse. This longevity was passed down to their children also. Deucalion and Pyrrha survived by staying on one of his ships for the entire duration of the flood.

    ~

    SON OF JOHAM

    GRANDSON OF RIPHATH SCOT

Some Irish claim to be from this lineage and the names will attest to it. The land that became Ireland had been inhabited off and on by people who reached it from the sea to the North. The clans from Noah and Japheth did spread as far North as was possible to survive. They were hunters and warriors more than they were farmers. They built ships and set sail without fear. They knew land would come to them because of the stories passed down from Noah.

    ~

    LINE OF GOMER

    SON OF DEUCALION AND PYRRHA

    GRANDSON OF PROMETHIUS AND EPIMETHIUS

The Greeks trace most of their lineage to the three children of Hellen and Orseis. The name Hellen is even used in the adjective form to call someone born in Greece Hellenic. Seven tribes were recorded as coming from this family. The many members of this family went on to rule most of the land of Greece.

    ~

    SON OF CRANUS

Gayana was one of the few beautiful Mermaids in the sea. It was known that Mami Wata people were not appealing to the human eye. However, there were a very few Mermaids who had human genes in their family line and they were the beautiful ones. Gayana was also a witch and she taught herself to change to human form.

Uraneus was born a shape shifter and traveled with Gayana when she
