    Author Nick Lombardi Jr. has spent over half his life in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, and he speaks five languages. He is the author of Journey Towards a Falling Sun and Plain of Jars, both published by Roundfire. An event in California in 2011 in which a homeless man was beaten to death lead Nick to write his newest novel, Justice Gone. Nick now lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

      Love And Suspense In The African DesertJourney Towards a Falling Sun by N. Lombardi Jr. is an amazing story that mixes love, suspense, and social issues of today. Politics, different cultures and intrigue combine to captivate readers not only to the passionate characters but also to the African landscape as described so vividly throughout the novel.The author has done an wonderful job with his story line, characterization and the beautiful setting. This isn't just a love story or suspense, it is an all encompassing tale of two people who want to be together but will destiny have other things ahead of them.Great, great read!!!

      N. Lombardi Jr., author of "The Plain of Jars" has once again written an amazing novel! "Journey Towards a Falling Sun" has brought to life not only a magnificent cast of characters, but also a blossoming love story mixed with political intrigue that results in a precarious trek through the harsh desert on the Kenya frontier. I found myself rooting for this heroic couple as they battle the odds to gain a happy life. From the very beginning the author's words give the reader a feeling of involvement in the story as it also presents a vivid picture of the people and landscapes of East Africa, taking the time to create scenes and anecdotes that pull the reader in. Another well-written book and compelling story by this author. I am very much looking forward to reading this author's next novel.
