Body Movers: 2 Bodies For the Price of One was even better than the first. Carlotta can't get a break...she's always in trouble or in danger...Jack Terry is even hotter in this second Body Movers.

Atlanta sales clerk Carlotta Wren is back in the second Body Movers mystery, although the mystery element is very minimal this time around. Carlotta is the victim of identity theft and is presumed dead when the person who stole her identity takes a plunge off an interstate bridge. Carlotta agrees to let everyone think she was the one who took the dive, in order to try to lure her fugitive parents out into the open. Much of the novel revolves around Carlotta's continuing attraction to three different men, including the police detective assigned to guard her. Needless to say, they end up sleeping together, but Carlotta almost instantly regrets that decision. The mystery of who stole Carlotta's identity and why she died is finally solved with a surprise twist. The third in the series is due out in 2008.

This is the second book in the Body Movers series. It's a fun, light, amusing read. I listened to the audio book, and the narrator was excellent. Carlotta Wren, the 29-year-old main character, has raised her younger brother Wesley since their parents deserted them 10 years earlier. She has 3 potential love interests, and finds herself in one disastrous situation after another. This book centers around a case of identity theft and a fake funeral. If you like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, you'll enjoy this series as well. Reading the books in order is not a requirement, but I strongly recommend it.

Second book in the Body Movers series. Carlotta Wren and Wesley her younger brother are back with their problems. Combine that with the trouble Carlotta just seems to stumble into and you have a mystery with a variety of threads. Well told story.

The Body Movers book had a a lot of suspense through out it. You never knew who really was trying to steal the body, and you are still questioning where Carlotta's parents are.

After the first book, I didn’t harbor high hopes for the second. But sometimes a series soars after a rocky first-book start. This, apparently, is not one of them. I DNF’d at 27% because I cannot sympathize with a character who complains about having so much debt while continuing to live as if she is wealthy. Especially when she lambasts her younger brother for the exact same behavior she exhibits. I can’t feel sorry for Carlotta; and I don’t want to listen to her whine any more.
