      The main character Angie was irritating. For someone who was well respected with multiple degrees it didn’t make sense how you could blame someone for the drunken death of your sister. And then blackmailed the person you blamed for her death (even though a full investigation was made) into marriage... ridiculous plot, hard pass.

      At first I was outraged at this book. How did the author reason out this plot? How absolutely foolish and distasteful of this character to want to marry her dead sister’s lover? What a foolish revenge plot!! My goodness!!! I gagged my way through the first couple chapters. But I must admit that the characters grew on me and I ended up enjoying the book. I just wished there was a bit more written on the initial reaction of the man after he realized Angie had left him. I would have enjoyed a bit of heart jerking drama there. I would not read again but I would certainly recommend both the book and the author.

      Pretty straightforward story. As per the title suggested. Blackmailed by diamond. In this case, Angie blackmailed Nikos into marrying her in exchange for her to return the diamond necklace back to him. Then how they treat each other during the marriage time. In the end she know what actually happened. ? Then there's some story flows in between why Angie decide to leave Nikos after all. Then you know, HEA when he came and get her back.
