Author

Justine Davis

Justine Davis lives on Puget Sound in Washington State, watching big ships and the occasional submarine go by, and sharing the neighborhood with assorted wildlife, including a pair of bald eagles, deer, a bear or two, and a tailless raccoon. In the few hours when she's not planning, plotting, or writing her next book, her favorite things are photography, knitting her way through a huge yarn stash, and driving her restored 1967 Corvette roadster—top down, of course.

An edge of the seat read all the way through. A real problem in society that makes everyone sick. Sharon Sala was brave to take it on. A heavy read but very well written.

I am on the last few chapters and have really enjoyed this book. It could be a tough book for some as it involves a difficult topic, child abuse. A brief synapsis on the book would be a girl kidnapped as a child by a mom who ran away to join a cult, and her life afterwards. I don't want to give too much away! Its fast paced with a strong story that makes it hard to put down.Happy reading everyone

Sharon Sala developed truly amazing characters and a horrific, but immensely readable, plotline. That said, when her characters begin to fall in love, every one of her books are the same. Maybe that's comfort for some readers. It's painful for me.
