The suspense part was good. The romance plot was one that's been done (a bodyguard falls in love with his client). This is the first one of this series that I've read that has featured an autistic child as a character. I enjoyed learning a bit more about autism and how a parent deals with it through reading this book.

I must admit, I am already a Terri fan, but this is the best book yet by her. This book begins her "protection specialists" series. I loved the autistic son--very realistically portrayed, and I could totally identify with Vivian and how she puts her son first above all else. I believe most mothers are heroic, but in this case Vivian is amazing. Great Job.
