The Greek Tycoon's Wife
Author

Kim Lawrence

Kim Lawrence was encouraged by her husband to write when the unsocial hours of nursing didn't look attractive! He told her she could do anything she set her mind to, so Kim tried her hand at writing. Always a keen Mills & Boon reader, it seemed natural for her to write a romance novel - now she can't imagine doing anything else. She is a keen gardener and cook and enjoys running on the beach with her Jack Russell. Kim lives in Wales.

This book was quite exhausting. The banter between the characters was really childish as all they did was yell and insult each other. At times it felt like two 5 year olds trying to get the upper hand. Also the writing could have used more editing and most sentences didn’t make sense plus several phrases didn’t translate well. The progression of the story was slow. By the time I got to chapter 8 it felt like I was forcing myself to finish the book so started flipping through pages, skipping chapters & I can confidently say that I wish it had ended sooner.

Boring and stupid. .. a woman runs inside a burning apartment because her cat still there.. a smart business billionaire man goes after her and rescues her.. afterwards, he goes back in because the woman is crying for her cat.. the apartment explodes supposedly with him inside. The woman after hearing the explosion and seeing all those flames she runs back inside.. of course she never makes it because she manages to trip and twist her ankle. .. talk about stupid.. I gave up on the book at this point.

I can't finish this book. The wife is just too antagonistic, as well as stupid. Running into a burning building? Really?
