I love reading both viewpoints and know the man is having his own struggles also. It was romantic. Well done...

What a disgusting PIG! I love the word mistress in these HP books. He installs a new one mere DAZS after the love of his life supposedly cheats on him, them he flaunts her. What a classy guy. Some love. I strongly recommend giving this one a pass. Strongly! ( needs emphasis) and if I could give '0' stars, I would have. How could this even be published at all let alone as a Romance is mind boggling.

After they figured out she did not do the dead, the never at any point in this book addressed the fact that he had gotten a mistress and bragged about sleeping with other women within days of their first break up. Double Standards.

Doormat heroine. Cruel hero who was never redeemed but screwed around while still married. And the heroine thinks he’s going to stay loyal to her after they’re back together?? What a joke!!

I have never read a romance book at any other time in which I so wanted to climb between the pages and slap the woman silly!! Gosh!! I wanted to shove her back bone right back in place. This was infuriating. But never the less, I didn’t rate it lower because I know that’s just a personal preference of mine. It flowed, it was well written and the fact that she was able to rile me up so much clearly indicates that the characters were well developed. Read on!

Hmm.. I really pitied the lady. She's being accused of affair that she did not committed to. And on top of that, her so called husband even admitted that he have a few relationship with other women. And the length of their separation is only 8 weeks. Sadly to say, within 8 weeks, God knows how many women he bedded. And he still mention that it's his wife fault. Alright. But the divorce is not finalized. So isn't what he's committing the same as his wife? And it seems that the people who surround him knew about it, why didn't anyone mention what a jerk he is? Sigh.. ? and lastly when he knew that everything is being made up by his wife best friend. He didn't have the tenancy to apologize to her about his strings of affairs. Except if his wife willing to forgive him for not trusting her and the abusive words he hurl at her. But not the affairs. The title really fit this book. Innocent wife.

What a terrible husband. I couldn't really enjoy the book because of the hate pouring out of him. The name calling went too far for me; talk about verbal abuse.
I wish there was some way to give a book zero stars, because this would be a case in which it was applied. This will not be a book I will consider revisiting.
I like the author overall but no good press from me on this one.

What a jerk! I couldn't stomach the hero. His wife purportedly cheats on him so he returns the favour by cheating on her multiple times (they've only been split up for 8 weeks) and treats her like pond scum for that one supposed indiscretion. What is wrong with some Mill's and Boon authors? In what universe would we consider a masochistic, door-mat heroine agreeable?
