About this ebook

For Matthew Valente, paternity trumped everything. Never mind that his ex-employee Lana had kept his baby a secret for nearly a year. Never mind that he considered her a liar and a thief. Their child would bear the Valente name and so would she.

As tension mounted in the House of Valente, Matthew fought to resist the memories of their past indiscretion. His bewitching bride insisted things were not as they seemed. But as restraint turned to passion, would the corporate king fall victim to the very worst form of take over his heart?

Not sure what was off but something was. The ending was rushed.

I liked this book because even though Matt thought Lana was stealing money, he never treated her badly. So many stories have an extremely abusive H that apologizes once and the h gets over it. Not this one and I applaud it.

I really think the story was maddening at times and also sad, but in the end I think it was an awesome story.
