Wow. I usually like amnesia romances, but this one just didn't work for me. For one thing, her memories came and went way too conveniently for the story. And the conventional mad desire for one another rang false for me here - Jack is too used to controlling himself under all circumstances (undercover man!), he shouldn't have been so easy to bend. Then at the end - again, too convenient. The bad guy may have been mad, but he was also just plain stupid - promise to kill two victims and leave a gun on the ground and turn his back on one? That he knows is a trained (if not very experienced) agent? No, that's authorial fiat - and I _hate_ books where everything happens because the author said so, ignoring logic and characterization. Pity, I thought I lIked Debra Webb. I've got another Colby Agency story to read - if I dislike that, I think I'll put her on the no list. Oh, also way too explicit (to the point of being clinical) sex scenes. Didn't catch me at all. Overall - boring!
