This was a delightful story set in a small town in Alaska and the author did a great job of making me want to go and visit this snowy cold state. In this story you will come to love Ben Grayson, a grieving former sled-dog musher who is now a photographer and covering the Gold Rush Trail sled-dog race. Then there is Clementine who has been sent from Texas to cover this race as a dog handler. Clementine has so much energy and love for what she is there to do. She falls in love with Alaska, and eventually with Ben also. But Ben has to let go of his grief and learn to trust in his God again, before he can let himself fall in love. A truly warm story, even though it was quite cold there in Alaska. Looking forward to reading more stories in this series.
