Spencer Westmoreland is out to acquire the Russell's Vineyard at whatever cost until he comes up against Chardonnay not the wine but the granddaughter of the vineyard owner who is totally set against selling along with Spencer's downright outrageous proposal of saving the vineyard and keeping it in her family by marrying and having his kids in a loveless marriage. After a night of forbidden passion can the two come to terms with that proposal or will all fall by the wayside. I truly enjoyed visiting with the Westmorelands once again and highly recommend it's an easy and quick read that will make you frown and smile by the end. Brenda Jackson has done a great job once again.

The book was good, but I hated Spencer. He was manipulative and controlling and there is absolutely nothing attractive about that. He came to his senses in the end and stopped demanding and expecting things from Chardonnay, but the sweet ending couldn't overshadow the bitter taste of the beginning. But again I say, the over all book was good. 2hrs 37min
