Carol Marinelli

Carol Marinelli recently filled in a form asking for her job title. Thrilled to be able to put down her answer, she put writer. Then it asked what Carol did for relaxation and she put down the truth – writing. The third question asked for her hobbies. It was fine. The guy was a huge a$$, and literally every conflict they had could have been solved with a conversation- which is sort of an annoying basis for a book. The ending could have been a lot better. As it is, it seems really hard to believe that he really isn’t going to dump her every time he gets mad or jumps to a conclusion. I did like the heroine. She has a great line something along “I love you. But I don’t need you.” She deserved a high five for that. Dude is also an a$$ to everyone, not just her. I’m not sure why the author finds this attractive, but someone who looks down his nose at everyone in a service industry, everyone who is an artist, everyone in general, is just a jerk. So he wasn’t attractive or lovable, in the least.

    But it wasn’t boring.
