      The Pax League saved Riley Tremaines life and in return they gave him the ability to sense evil. With a new life helping to fight terrorism he doesn't believe that he can include Nina Phillips. Nina is an anthropologist researching some El Zarpan stones, stones with reputed mystical powers. When the stones are stolen from the museum and Nina left unconscious she rings him for help - almost by reflex. When he arrives he senses that she's in danger. Can they work together without their past getting in the way?Quite jumpy and occasionally quite Deus ex Macina, readable but not a great read.
