These are two short and sweet books. Light and fairytaley and just what you need for a sugar rush.

Where to start? A woman and a guy are childhood best friends and coworkers. The guy’s girlfriend also works at the same job and issues an ultimatum: your best friend or me. Meanwhile, their boss is in love with our heroine *spoiler (she returns his love)*, but also thinks she’s in love with her best friend.

Biggest Problem: There wasn’t a hint of character growth for ANY of the characters. Marriage doesn’t make problems go away, especially problems of trust and insecurities (and blind jealousy).

Neither the boss nor the girlfriend trusted the best friends to only be friends. They CONSTANTLY (up to the last chapter) accused the heroine of secretly being in love and ignored when she denied it. Somehow her marrying the boss solved everything? Yeah, both of these marriages are doomed.

I would review book 2, but I couldn’t read it after reading such utter ridiculousness.

Don’t read. A man and woman are best friends who work together. They have a close friendship that everyone misreads. The male best friend is in a committed relationship with a woman who issues an unreasonable ultimatum. The lady best friend is being accused of being secretly in love with him. Their boss decides that it’s causing too much workplace drama and railroads the woman into a fake relationship with him. He’s also secretly in love with her and continuously makes inappropriate comments about the best friends. Honestly a bad book, cant recommend. Couldn’t find the motivation to finish or continue to the second book.

Two short books in one package. Both with men that we knew loved the woman from the beginning. Quick, easy wads with silly misunderstandings. Sweet stories.

Fun quick read on both stories. No bitching bitches, no retard billionaires. Only love. Oh, the second story is funny. It kept me laughing. ?
