This story is about U.S. Air Force pararescue jumper Vince Reardon. Vince is some one who has no respect for lawyers (his brother was sent to and killed in prison after being wrongly convicted by a slick lawyer). So when pretty lawyer Val Russo crashes into his motorcycle with her car, and he later finds out she is a lawyer, he isn't exactly nice to her. But Val sees something in this pararescue jumper that needs saving and she is out to be his friend. Vince will start to see a new side of her when he sees how she reaches out to the underprivileged kids in her community. Their respect for each other is leading to something far more, but Val's commitment to her Lord is cause to keep both of them from a commitment to each other. Vince will eventually see how much the Lord loves him and wants him to place his faith and trust in Him.This was another good story in this series about soldiers who are "fearless, faithful and falling in love". The romance is always there, but I also appreciate how this author shows the spiritual side of a person's life and how much knowing the Lord and leaning on Him can help a person through all kinds of struggles.
