About this ebook

Corporate security guard Samantha Beckett knew that sexy electronics genius Ian Gamble would balk at having her as his bodyguard, so she decided that posing as his neighbor was the best way to keep her eye on him. Professionally speaking, of course...

Ian thought that suddenly acquiring the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen as his next-door neighbor was too good to be true. And then Samantha turned out to be his hired...bodyguard! Well, perhaps it was time they both took her job description more literally....

Author

Justine Davis

Justine Davis lives on Puget Sound in Washington State, watching big ships and the occasional submarine go by, and sharing the neighborhood with assorted wildlife, including a pair of bald eagles, deer, a bear or two, and a tailless raccoon. In the few hours when she's not planning, plotting, or writing her next book, her favorite things are photography, knitting her way through a huge yarn stash, and driving her restored 1967 Corvette roadster—top down, of course.

The scientist and the troubleshooter. I like this one - mutual stubbornness. Ian shows unexpected smarts in survival mode, Samantha ditto in what he's working on (or rather, how to handle what he's working on). The trick at the beginning was annoying but he figures it out pretty quickly (and Sam gets a little deeper than she expected into her role!). Good.
